Dear Mr. McMichael,
My name is Chris Brockman, I am owner/general manager/water boy of Brock's
Bandits, a proud member of the Retired Orangemen Fantasy Football League.
Two weekends ago, my friends and I had our annual fantasy football draft,
and being that you are one of the more prolific pass-catching tight ends in
all of football, I was more than pleased to see your name still on the board
when it came time for me to select a tight end. I'm very pleased to have you
as a member of Brock's Bandits as we march through the season looking to
capture our first ROFFL Trophy. Although something did trouble me.
Recently, I noticed, you were arraigned on domestic abuse charges, and
while I'm thankful (as are you I'm sure) that those were dropped I couldn't
help but see that you pled guilty to criminal trespassing, which came with a
$500 fine and any restitution for any damages that happened during the
incident.
I am writing you today to say that as Owner and GM of Brock's Bandits I am
fining you an additional $5 for the embarrassment you have brought myself,
my franchise, and all the fans of the Bandits, including my mother, a
Georgia native, who has been a fan of yours since you entered the league.
Payment can be made to the address above via personal check, however, I
will consider waiving the fine entirely, and guarantee you "keeper status"
in my league for the next two years, if you leave me two tickets to Miami's
January 1 game at New England.
If you have any questions about the team's disciplinary action, or wish to
appeal the fine, you may contact my office at 207-467-5394, or via e-mail at
cbrock723@gmail.com.
Thank you for your time and best of luck to you, the Dolphins, and Brock's
Bandits.
Sincerely,
Chris Brockman
