| ROFF OWNER UPDATE Super Bowl Madness continued as the Steelers won, Lukin ate more dip and even though it rained while skiing, snow came our way. Oh, and who can forget the girl in the blue shirt... Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |

| ROFF OWNER UPDATE Apologizes to Jarrett (the only owner to be left off this space - next week I PROMISE!), but how could I not highlight these two this week: It's the teacher vs. the doctor Syracuse vs. Haverford Ali vs. Frazer So not Ali vs. Frazer, but the others are true. These two continue to strive beyond just college. Dave finished graduate school last year and currently teaches high school history (and heads up the Japanese Club - is that still true???). Navid meanwhile kills mice daily while striving to reach a cure (email him for more details - way out of my brain power). Both enjoy current relationships, and both have separate but intense reasons for wanting this win this week. Good luck to both. It's going to be a fun Christmas (and for the first time in recent memory - Hanukkah) weekend. Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |
| ROFF OWNER UPDATE He's got style, he's got class, he can barley spell... HE's 2r's 2t's! Yes, what better way too celabrate the Jewish holyday of Chanukkah, then with some wurds on are Jewish Nose. Won of the most dedicated of are league (he was willing to miss the birth of his niece for the draft), the Nose knows how two show off for the league: As he approached the playoffs, he considered resting his players for the cuming weeks in hopes of a victorE. While the move didnt work, it definitely deserves some credit. By day, mild mannered Jarrett sells overpriced suits to New Yawk fat cats. By night, he sits at home and decides how to look his best. And it usualE works (jacket or no). Jay may be the best looking (debatable), but Jarrett is the best dressed by far (more debatable). Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |

| ROFF OWNER UPDATE Our resident pretty boy. And boy is he pretty. I mean, look at that hair! Quick update on Cantor: He's currently working for a production house in SoHo (for you non-New Yorkers... it's in New York), and living in his semi-new digs in Murray Hill (again, New York). The setting for his apartment is poetic: Just across the street from a movie theatre. The love life is active, if nothing long term. He made mention that the girl from "The Greatest Story of All Time" will be making an NYC appearance soon for 5 full days. 5 Days for 5 Second Stare? Now THAT is poetic... | ROFF OWNER UPDATE Ask and ye' shall receive... Yes, that's Brock, Simmons, and some pretty good looking chick who I hope makes the journey down to NYC for New Years with Brock. And what did Mr. Simmon's have to say? Luckily Brock, in his usual great writing has provided us with his fourth column of the year, In The Huddle - Local Guy Meet Sports Guy. Brock meanwhile is enjoying life, and ready for his close up as he head's into the final four. A few quotable quotes from my conversation with #3: "If Nick and I are in the finals, I can't be held accountable for what comes out of my mouth and onto my keyboard" "And if I beat Navid, I'm going to jerk off all over myself" Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |
| ROFF OWNER UPDATE Rumours of his demise are overrated. I mean, look at him. He looks fine to me. AND he's smiling!!! (actually this is one of my favorite pic's of Brian...) No? Hear he has a bad foot? Yeah, I hear that too. Luckily it isn't his driving foot so he can still make it to work. Our self-deprecating columnist is living it up at home in Long Island, working for Cablevision - specifically the Independent Film Channel (channel 81 on Time Warner Cable in Manhattan). He's dating a lovely girl who lives in Manhattan, and like the rest of us, probably doesn't watch IFC. Brian is in the playoffs for the second year in a row, and coming off a 122 point victory (where he doubled his opponents score), he has confidence. Good luck to you and everyone in the brackets above... Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |

| ROFF OWNER UPDATE Gentlemen, meet Jeri. Jeri, meet the gentlemen. As everyone is aware by now, Jason is dating a lovely girl named Jeri. Most think it's because she's sweet, nice and looks good. I think it's because she has a dude's name. Yes, Sherman has evened out again. Last year when his team was riding high, he couldn't get a "quality" date. Now as his team rummages for wine in the basement, he is enjoying the blissful life of dating, as we move him from the SINGLE category to the DATING column, alongside ROFF Owners including Nick Serrano, Brian Yeung and Navid Sadri (congrats to all on new loves). Meanwhile, Jason is enjoying his Upper East Side apartment, haggling over nickels for a subsidiary of Ross Stores and Sundays in the Park. Congrats Jason, here's to happiness! | ROFF OWNER UPDATE Three plus years in the making. That's right, this weekend, in the remote New York State town of Schenectady, Gregory Moore and Karen Male (now Moore) tied the knot in front of friends, family, and if Gregg had his way, the family dog. It was a great time, a beautiful ceremony, and the happy couple is headed to Italy for a weeks stay. Oh, and here's a little known fact: it's their first vacation together as a couple, and the first time Gregg has been across the Atlantic. To the happy couple: Many years of happiness... | ROFF OWNER UPDATE Halloween is full of freaks. And nothing more freakish than a man with marshmallow's down his shirt. Yes, Stay Puff made an appearance this Halloween in the form of Moore - with a marshmallow bag on his head. And who could stop this hideous ghost? Why the Ghostbusters: Cantor, Sherman, Blass and Epstein (sounds more like a law firm that Ghostbusters...) We held a Halloween-Optional surprise party for my girlfriend Stephanie. Everything went off without a hitch, and the night led us to karaoke, where the 'Busters made an appearance and drove the crowd wild with one simple phase: Who ya gonna call? | ROFF OWNER UPDATE Admit it: You hate him. At 7-0, Brick Walls and Trees has become the only ROFF team to go undefeated this late in the season. And with a strong team, it doesn't look they will be slowing down in the final six weeks. So admit it: You hate Scott, and this picture doesn't make you like him anymore: Scott is currently enjoying his time at Disney, where he has a new boss named Iger (rhymes with "tiger"). Last week he went down to Washington to witness first hand the Redskins spanking of the 49er's. It was this fans first trip to the "mecca" of Skins football - FedEx Field. He said it was the most Burgundy and Gold in one place he has ever seen... We really do hate you... Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |
| ROFF OWNER UPDATE The time had to come eventually. Yes, that's right, the ROFF finally had a member tie the knot - a surprisingly it was with a girl! Yes, on June 5 of this year, Josh Lukin married Lauryn Taubman Lukin in a ceremony on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay, thereby guaranteeing himself access to Ravens games for years to come. Just a month earlier, Josh and Lauryn moved into a two-bedroom in Canton, Maryland after Josh moved down from New Jersey. The move came about when Josh got a job at Eisner Communications - the most prestigious advertising agency in the state (it's a small state). And Lauryn works for the... well, do I really have to tell you? Congrats to Josh and Lauryn. Here's to a lifetime of happiness! Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |

| ROFF OWNER UPDATE It's ya BOY! Russia called Nick, and Nick answered. But what is his post-Russia game plan, you ask? "My return flight was booked last January for Nov. 21, and over the past few weeks my Dad and I have tried to move it up, closer to my Oct. 26 contract end date. Anyway, this has been really difficult and ultimately would be really expensive (to change the flight), so I'm going to stay until Nov. 21. I'll be back at the beginning of Thanksgiving week." "It's killing me missing these NFL Sundays, but I will be home in time for my nephew's baptism, so that's good news. The other thing is that this extra time has given me a good chance at going to London for a week with Julia at the end of October, to see my campus and kind of scope it out." We miss you Nick... hurry back. Read ROFF Owner Update Archived Articles here |
| ROFF OWNER UPDATE It was a game to define all Sunday throw-around games. In what has become a yearly thing, Sunday's in the Park kicked off this year in Central Park, NYC. Teams were determined early with Gregg Moore and Jason Sherman going up against Scott Watson and Marc Epstein. It was a tough match from the beginning, with Mooreman and Watstein matching TD for TD. That was until Epstein got sacked in the endzone for a 2 point safety - a big turn in the game. With the game clock ticking down (we only played to 50), Mooreman marched down field leading 49-47. But a big defensive stop in the endzone by Watson gave Watstein the ball. And on 3rd down, Epstein hit Watson in the endzone, giving them the first win of the season and a big victory... ...of course, that is until next Sunday in the Park... | ROFF OWNER UPDATE As everyone is aware, our dear friend Rich was luckily NOT in New Orleans when that b*tch Katrina came to town. Rich did meet up with his WDSU Channel 6 staff in Jackson, Mississippi with the same three sets of clothes he took to draft weekend (good thing he bought a Draft Weekend t-shirt... is it too early to joke?). Anyhow, I am now sure of two things: 1. The WDSU staff is probably sick of seeing Kiss in a Rolling Stones t-shirt and 2. Rich is ok. In fact, as you see below, one of his co-workers has made his way back into New Orleans and graciously took a picture of Rich's car for all of us to see (the red jeep) . Of course, the yellow bug didn't fare as well. Rich, it goes without saying we are all pulling for you and the city of New Orleans. If you need anything at all, we are happy to help. | ROFF OWNER UPDATE Parker called me last week to make sure I got his phone message. The message - which I received April 1 - dealt with the fact that Parker had sexually harassed a woman and wanted to know his legal course of action. Like most of Parker's messages, I found it funny and dismissed it. But like Parker, he called to make sure I got it... 6 months later (and to make sure I found it funny... which, for the record, I did) This Friday Parker will turn 26. I remember it like it was only 7 months ago. Ahhh... Parker is currently out in LA working hard on the recently renewed American Dad. He attended the premiere of the Family Guy straight to DVD movie, which he recommends and says is hilarious. He also recently acquired Donovan McNabb to help out his struggling 1-4 team. He did not find this as funny. He also would like to mention to that he recently was in the Green Room at Jimmy Kimmel Live and saw Mike Jones (Mike Jones, Mike Jones, Jones). "That was kinda fun."
