Keepers: Brian Westbrook and LaMont Jordan.
Another keeper surprise was the decision to let Moss go. Scott did what I was not brave enough to do. That was
wipe his hands clean of a potential problem on his team, no matter the reward of keeping him, and going for a safer
selection. Both Westbrook and Jordan are top 20 RB’s and LaMont could explode to be one of the top 10 RB’s this
fantasy year.
Grade: B+

Draft:
QB: Marc Bulger.
My pick this year for the Donovan McNabb award. The guy who is steady and posts solid numbers every year, but
takes that next giant step to elite. Look for 4,000 yards and 35 TD’s.
Grade: A-

RB: Travis Henry, Brandon Jacobs, and Nick Goings.
One of the few people to actually have 5 RB’s on his roster. All three could have some value at some point in the
season. Henry will split time with Chris Brown, but with Brown’s injury history, he could become the man. However,
he has his own injury concerns. Jacobs is probably having one of the best preseasons of all time. Could be a goal
line threat, but nothing more. Goings could repeat his performance from last year if Foster and Davis go down
again. But that’s asking for a repeat of all their injuries.
Grade: B

WR: Reggie Wayne, Chris Chambers, Donte Stallworth, Michael Jenkins, Amani Toomer.
Wayne could overtake Harrison as the main wideout for Indy. If not, he’ll still have the best year of any NFL team’s
#2 WR. Chambers is a big enigma. He has skill and breakout potential every year. But with possibly the worst QB’s
passing to him, does he have the opportunities. Stallworth seems to be a sleeper candidate every year. But always
seems to fall short of expectations (save for one or two big games). Could this be his year? Jenkins could be the
receiver that finally silences the ‘Vick can’t pass’ critics. Especially now that Peerless Price is gone. Toomer is a
poor man’s Jimmy Smith or Eric Moulds. Add to the fact that he takes a back seat to Plaxico and that he caught zero
TD’s last year, makes me believe his best fantasy days are behind him.
Grade: B+

TE: Eric Johnson
A huge reception guy who will catch like 2 TD’s. Value takes a hit if 49ers decide to start Alex Smith, who clearly is
not ready.
Grade: B+

K: Shayne Graham.
Could be the kicker for a powerhouse offense. Whether that means extra point attempts or more FG attempts, will
determine his real value (yea I know, stating the obvious). But I think he’ll be the top fantasy kicker this year.
Grade: B+

DEF: Indianapolis Defense.
They won’t shut anybody out and will let up a good 20+ points a week, but could lead the league in takeaways with
that offense putting up all those points.
Grade: B

Best Draft Pick: Marc Bulger
Worst Draft Pick: Travis Henry

Team Strenghts: QB and RB
Team Weaknesses: Nothing major (although WR could throw an egg some weeks)

Key to Success: LaMont Jordan. Is he the great starting RB that he claims to be or is he just another backup
RB that didn’t deserve his shot.

Overall Grade: B+
