New Jersey drivers are assholes... Where else would people rather flash their highbeams at a driver in front of
them instead of simple changing lanes and going around them (That didn’t happen to me, I mean I do a smooth 80-
85 police permitting). But there was, no lie, 2 cars ahead of me. Both in the same left lane. One car going slow, the
other car going way above speed limit and quickly approaching the slower driving car (ok, not slow, but speed limit).
Anyhow, instead of simply turning on the change turn signal and switching lanes, he slams on the breaks and starts
flashing his highbeams.

  • The dumbest sign I’ve seen in my life: A One Way sign on the side of the road on the Garden State Parkway.
How would you even go the other way? I mean there aren’t intersecting streets. What do they think I’m gonna
do, pull a three point turn right between exit 130 and 129 and decide to go against traffic back to NYC? Do
people not see the opposite side of the parkway where the cars are going the other way?

  • Strangest quote of the weekend:
“I can’t wait to see Get Rich or Die Tryin” (The 50 Cent movie coming out in Nov.)
           - Chris Brockman

  • Most predictable quote of the weekend:
“That was the dumbest draft pick of the day” (after Jarrett picked Jon Kitna)
           - Almost everybody

You just knew Jarrett was going to do that.

  • Weirdest moment: While sitting and watching Parker, Marc, Scott, Gregg, and Josh play Roulette at the
Claridge; the Pitt Boss thought I was cheating somehow and came over multiple times to ‘watch me’. One time
even reaching over to feel the bottom of the table where I was sitting to see if there was something there I
guess. Why must we Asians always be stereotyped?

  • Funniest moment: Parker’s picture using Nick’s cardboard cutoff as a fig leaf.

  • Least comical moment(s): Marc reading the email written by me before the keeper picks. Seriously, you could
    hear crickets.

Overall, another great weekend. I think everyone would agree with me when I say that the hotel was a huge
upgrade. It was great that thirteen of us (everyone in the U.S) could attend. I thought more people would not be able
to make it. And it felt like Nick was there. Maybe that’s just b/c his face was everywhere.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THIS YEAR: SEE YOU ALL DRAFT WEEKEND ’06
