This is it for some of us. This is what the season comes down to. For three teams, the lottery looms brightly. For five
others, one stressful week remains. I guess it’s true what people say, the best times go by so quickly. Thirteen
weeks flew by faster than I could remember.

I will keep this one short. For those in the playoffs. Good luck. The playoffs are a whole new ballgame. Throw out
the records and point totals. It doesn’t matter if you were 12-1 or 6-7.

Three of the five teams in already, failed to make the playoffs last year (Chris, Jarrett, and Gregg). Only Scott and
Navid are guaranteed returns. Of all the teams without the asterisk, Dave is in the best position. His six wins, almost
guarantees he’s in, barring a loss and low point total in week thirteen. If he gets in, that would make it four lottery
teams from 2004 becoming playoffs teams in 2005. It’s obvious, Parity runs wild in our league. In 2004, five teams
made the playoffs that didn’t in 2003. The same could hold true in 2005 (if Parker or Nick gets in). Returning to the
extended season is a difficult task. Just ask Marc, Jason, and Rich.

For the five teams in a do or die situation, I’ll let Scott breakdown all the scenarios in his final playoff preview. So, I’ll
keep it polite and simply say goodluck to Jay, Nick, Parker, and my opponent for the week.

For the three teams eliminated from playoff contention, I will say that one bad season usually leads to a good
season the next. The toilet bowl has yet to be determined, which means those teams will be playing to win this week.
However, the planning has already begun for 2006 keepers as Jason has snatched up Javon Walker off the free
agent pool (good move, I’ve been thinking the same for weeks now). Along with that, the first few picks have already
been determined. LDT, Shaun, Edge, Peyton. Not a bad consolation prize.

Lastly, I’d like to apologize to everyone who made it to Turkey Bowl I. I know I was a big letdown, after informing
everyone that I would play. My foot just would not cooperate. I tried running a few days before and it ended up
hurting again and getting swollen. I have a doctor appointment later this week for those of you that may care. I’d
also like to apologize to Nick. Sorry I wasn’t able to make it out to the city the days you visited. My foot and my car
would not allow it.

To all, good luck this week!!!
