I’ve been really busy lately, so this one will be fairly short. But at least I keep my streak alive. I’ve written a column each
week dating back to the end of the 2004 season.

Another streak continues. Jason’s stock report is seven weeks and counting. Sure it’s getting later and later
(practically carrying over into the following week), but it’s there.

I don’t care if you are a Yankee fan or a Red Sox fan, that Endy Chavez catch was absolutely crazy. I had class that
night and raced home just in time to witness the catch. I was jumping around with my hands raised, pumping my fist,
and swirling around like a ballerina. That was the most unbelievable catch I’ve ever seen on TV. I mean it was so
insane that I got in my car, picked up Jay, and we drove down to New Orleans so that we both could give Rich a high
five.

Btw, Jason’s comments in his latest stock report just show why people hate Yankee fans. They have to feel good
about themselves by trashing others. Let it go. Neither NY team lived up to expectations.

Now a moment of silence for the Met fans. Jay, Rich, and I need a second.

Hands down the hardest person to trade with is Parker Deay. Lets just say that we had a deal for 2 players and I was
throwing in a kidney and the rights to my first-born. But Parker also wanted a draft pick and that I could not do.
Seriously, Parker Yeung - that name has famous athlete written all over it.

Saw the trailer for 24: Season 6. Crazy. Almost as crazy as Chavez’s catch. I’m going to spoil it all for you. Jack Bauer
yells. Kills some people. Get’s double-crossed. Kills some more people. Takes a moment to cry. Saves the world.
Rinse and repeat. I CAN’T WAIT.

Finally, saw “The Departed”. Great movie and I agree with Jay’s review 100%. Ebert, I mean Jay, does a great job of
writing reviews in my opinion, a really good job, right on point. However, I already saw the original movie that it was
based on, so I knew what was going to happen ahead of time. Really ruined it for me. But at least they were faithful to
the original, which is a great movie itself. I have it if you want to borrow it.

The truth is out. Nick is just a little bit racist…it’s ok Nick. I’ve known for a while now. (btw, that quote is from a famous
play. Who can name it?)

Sometimes I hate fantasy football season. I just realized that I haven’t talked to anyone of you about anything other
than fantasy football since the season started. For some of you, I sent emails or call and unless I mention the word
fantasy football, I don’t get a response. Actually I take some of that back. Nick has been pretty good. We had a few
good conversations. And we hate each other. No, seriously, after our last war of words I bought a ticket to London,
confronted Nick, and we fought to the death. In hindsight, I could have saved myself a lot of time and money if I just
waited till he came home for New Years.

FOOTBALL THOUGHTS: Injuries are starting to take their toll.

Josh – Lost Matty Hasselbeck due to a knee injury. The injury looked like Palmer’s last year, which can’t be good. Josh
is riding either Air McNair or Vincent Young in the meantime. Reports say Hasselbeck is out for about three weeks and
Josh would be happy to just go 1-2 during that time.

Scott – Lamont Jordan was a surprise last minute inactive. If it wasn’t bad enough that the guy has been one of the
five biggest busts (along with Chambers, Daunte, Chad, and Moss) a no show for the week from a guy listed as
probable is a killer.

Jarrett – Stallworth has been really frustrating for Jarrett’s team. Keyshawn hasn’t filled in too well and it seems like
each week Stallworth is the dreaded game-time decision.

Parker – Even though the depth of WR is good on Parker’s team. The loss of Fitzgerald has coincided with Parker’s
recent three game losing streak. He needs his keeper back, especially since Leinart is starting to show signs of life
(Oakland game not included).

Marc – Even though he’s not actually on Marc’s roster, the injury to Mike Brown is going to be a bigger blow to the
Chicago defense than people think. He is an integral part to the success of that defense, and they never play as well
when he is not in the lineup.

(Sidenote: Why isn’t Devin Hester available in Yahoo! leagues?)

Jason – Greg Jennings was a surprise addition to this week’s injury report. That explains his one catch stat line last
week. Jennings has been a pleasant surprise for Jason and looked like a solid play. With an already struggling WR
core, Jennings contribution will be missed if he is out for a prolonged period of time.

**Good luck this week Jason**

Gregg – Although his team is starting to turn things around, Gregg will need DeAngelo to come back and to be
productive soon. His RB situation is hurting him and Peyton and Hines won’t combine for 7 TD’s every week.

Rich – SHAUN should be returning next week. But with the recent improved play of Cadillac and the surprising play of
Leon Washington, SHAUN might not even be needed.

FOR THOSE TEAM’S NOT AFFECTED BY INJURIES:

Navid – The champ is back on top and right where he belongs. Unless a string of bad luck happens, I just don’t see
anyone stopping Navid this year or next year. I was in a fantasy baseball league where a guy won five titles in a row
and as painful as it is to say it, I think Navid could approach that. (Important note: I won the baseball league this year
and ended his five-year streak.)

Nick – I was partially right about Wali Lundy, just off about nine weeks. Good job picking up Tony Romo before he
became the new starting QB. That’s just good thinking ahead.

Dave – A huge week for Dave. I think the key is Moss. If he does well, the team plays well. Dave’s 2006 team is an
exact replica of last year’s 2nd place team.

Chris – Another come from behind victory last week thanks to a big game by the New York Giants Defense. You have
to give the man some credit now. One time is luck. Maybe even two times. But four times? That’s gotta be more than
just luck.

Jay – Since half the guys I dropped or traded have become absolute studs, I hope Eric Moulds repeats his week one
performance for you every week you play him. He sure wasn’t doing anything for me.

Sorry for the short edition. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THIS WEEK!!!
