Sometimes it’s skill, sometimes it’s luck.  I built a great team this season, 8th highest in points.  Skill.  Then I played 3 teams that
hit season highs on me, and two more than had their second best game on me.  Luck. Bad Luck.

What’s to report from Week 12?  We learned one valuable lesson - Numbers mean everything and nothing:  I hit my all time
high of 6 losing weeks. Scott’s Brick Walls & Trees now officially have the most regular season wins (11) in the history of the
league, and Nomads have a chance to tie him next week – or Scott can pull out farther.

Nose’s Carson Palmer became the league fantasy points leader with 265 (3 more than LT).  That’s 21 more points than the
next QB Peyton Manning, lone star on Shermtanks.  Thanks to the lack of productivity of the rest of the team, Tanks now
stands at 3-9 and have a chance to come in first for at least one award in ROFF history – the Toilet Bowl.

In a season defined by great WR’s, Steve Smith is the shining star with 221 fantasy points.  That’s a remarkable 36 points more
than the next WR, Larry Fitzgerald.  Smith and Harrison have the most TD’s for WR’s at 9.  And only 4 WR’s have crossed the
1000 yard mark by the end of week 12 – Smith, Chad Johnson, Santana Moss and Joey Galloway.

Shawn Alexander is by far the best RB in the league so far, with 253 more yards and 3 more TD’s than LT.  But when LT adds
on the 315 yards of receiving (and 37 receptions on the year) he out shines Alexander in points. Oh and don’t forget the 3
completions for 3 touchdowns.  Even Manning can’t outshine that ratio.

In all 92 players have crossed 100 points this season.  That is a remarkable feat.

And in our league: Nomads are by far the most dominate, outscoring his opponents by 259.67 points.  Sherm takes the worse
beating, outscored by 216.26 points this season.  Colts have squeezed out the closest wins, outscoring opponents by a mere
1.36, and Nose has been outscored by just 7.91.

And of course there is the luck factor: Tanks have scored 100+ or more 4 times this season, twice as many as propa has.  BUT
Tanks have had 100+ scored on him 9 times this season, while it’s only happened 3 times to propa.  It’s just bad luck, especially
when the league average is 7 games at 100+, with 7 opponents scoring 100+ on them.  Side note: Born is as lucky as propa –
3 games at 100+, and only 5 teams have score 100+ on him.  Of course, BW&Ts holds the record this season with 100+ in 11
games, and Nomads are number 2 with 10 games this season.

To all of you this week still in the hunt, I wish you good luck.  It should be a wild weekend and as always there will be a last
minute victory and loss.  Monday presents itself for some last second thriller and I am really looking forward to watching.  Have
fun and next week we'll talk all about the playoffs and what the weeks ahead have in store for 8 lucky teams...
