Baltimore Tools vs. Nomads in the Deep
You would think an 8-2 team would scare me.  Especially a team on a 5 game winning streak and who
has outscored opponents by 225 points. You would think wrong.  I’m 3-7 and standing on the cusp of the
end of my season. I have NOTHING to lose Deep.  Nothing. I will be bringing it, and bringing it hard.
Time to fight, and it’s time for you to lose.
PICK: TOOLS

Shermtanks vs. Five Second Stare
Hey, hey, hey, it’s the Battle of the Jay’s!  I love when these two play because you know there is so much
pride on the line.  In 2003, Sherman beat Cantor by 38 in the regular season.  In ’04, Cantor turned the
tables with a 29 point victory over Sherman.  And of course there was ROFF Bowl II when Cantor took
home the trophy in the first of 2 ROFF loses for the Tanks.  This year, look for Five to put the final nail in
Sherman’s proverbial coffin.
PICK: TANKS SEASON OVER IN FIVE

Brock’s Bandits vs. Nose
Probably the best match-up of the week as 6-4 Nose takes on the 7-3 Bandits. Bandits came back
strong last week with a 114 point performance, while Nose took a dive with a 61 point game – but he
was missing some crucial players, including Carson Palmer.  I could go into detail about how Nose’s
team will continue to underperform this week, but when it comes down to it, only 4 words matter:
Alexander against the 9er’s.
PICK: BANDITS PUNCH OUT NOSE

Born to Run My Mouth vs. Brick Walls & Trees
Mouth certainly has made some great strides of late, winning 3 of his last 4.  It is worth noting that his
team is averaging just 91 points in those victories.  He has a solid team, and it looks like moving
McNabb when he could has worked in his favor.  If Cadillac can return to form, he might have a chance to
be in the playoffs.  Of course this week will be a tough win, playing the number 1 team who welcomes
back his number 1 QB and is projected to break 105 points.  I’m not saying Mouth doesn’t have a chance
to win… oh wait, yes I am.
PICK: MOUTH FALL FROM TREES

Married With Ravens vs. Colt .45s
The Battle of the Brides may be one of the funniest images we have ever posted on the ROFF website.
Excellent work.  Gregg returns from Italy and makes NO last minute trades. It is a damn shame what
married life has turned him into.  Anyhow, Chad Johnson makes his return to the lineup, but faces a
tough Indy D.  Ravens will stuggle too with Burress, Mason and Bryant facing tough D’s.  This is going to
be close game, but I’ll give the advantage to the newlywed.
PICK: MARRIAGE WORKS FOR COLTS

Blade Brown vs. New Jersey Jacobins
Brian vs. Dave – another match-up I look forward to yearly.  In ’02 Dave took home a 37 point victory,
while Brian won by 31 in ’04.  This year Jacobins get Brown on a 2 game losing streak, as they have won
3 in a row, including last weeks season high of 144 while starting QB Brees was on a bye.  Tiki’s really
been the heart of the team, and could face SOME resistance from the Philly D.  Look for Gonzalez to be
part of the KC beat down of Houston this week.  On the flip side, Blade will again find some points in
Collins, but he works best when he’s connecting with Porter.  New acquisition Andre Johnson starts his
second game for Brown.  The real heart and soul is the Chicago D, who could be torn apart this
weekend by Carolina.
PICK: NEW JESERY ISN’T BLADE TERRITORY

Duckville Quackers vs. propaganda
Parker vs. Nick – what did I do to deserve this week?  Surprisingly propaganda might make the playoffs,
while Duck needs to come up big this week to continue to have a chance at them. propa sends out Chris
Simms to get some points, while Duck is hoping to see Kurt Warner play in St. Louis this week like he
used to when he got 8 games a year there.  New acquisition Gado get’s the start – let’s see if he’s for
real.  This isn’t going to be pretty, and as much as I give propa a lot of chance to pull this out, look for
Duck’s WR core to win the game
PICK: DUCKS ARE NOT COMMUNIST
