With apologizes to Walls, Nomads is definitely the team to beat right now. With a 6 game winning
streak, it is up to Five to end it and prove that he can be a tough competitor in the upcoming playoffs. It’s ’
03 Champ vs. ’04 Champ. I’m giving the Turkey edge to Five. I think Nomad’s Johnson will struggle
against NE, and Hasselbeck will be beat up by the Giants.
PICK: OLD CHAMP BEATS RECENT
Shermtanks vs. Nose
You know Jason wants this: A win not only puts him back into playoff contention (talk about pulling
yourself up), but might pull him out of Toilet Bowl contention. Nose meanwhile wants it badly two –
ending at 2 game skid would help keep playoff hopes alive, and not push him further on the bubble. I’m
giving the Turkey edge in this one to Nose. Look for Jackson to bounce back (and then some) against
Houston and Palmer to seek vengeance over last weeks loss.
PICK: NOSE SINKS TANKS SEASON
Brock’s Bandits vs. Brick Walls & Trees
Easily the best game of the week, and the toughest challenger Walls has faced since week 8’s matchup
against the Jacobins. Bandits have a chance here to come closer to first place, and to prove to the
league that he is officially over his week 7 and 8 hiccups. I really like the matchup of Jordan\Westbrook
vs. Alexander\Johnson. This Turkey edge goes out to Bandit’s RB combo. Walls – and Westbrook –
could suffer with McMahon at the helm… in both real and fantasy life.
PICK: BANDITS CUT DOWN TREES
Born to Run My Mouth vs. Colt .45s
While Colt’s rides a two game winning streak, Born is currently on the downside of a 3-2 run to the
playoffs. While Colts needs this win to solidify a spot, Born needs this to manage to still be in the hunt.
RB’s will suffer in this game with Portis hitting SD and Cadillac facing Chicago. Turkey edge? Have to
go with the wily veteran in Farve over sophomore sensation Manning.
PICK: COLTS RUN OVER MOUTH
Married With Ravens vs. New Jersey Jacobins
Our resident Jersey boys take each other in another 6-5 vs. 4-7 meeting. Playoff implications all over the
place this week. It seems Brock\Walls is the only game that just has pride on the line. Turkey edge in
the ‘bins/’vens game? Look for Droughns to be the difference maker in Minnesota. Although I hate to
discount Vick on a national stage…

Duckville Quackers vs. Blade Brown
QUACK! I just like saying that. Duck needs to make a big quack, but probably the team that needs to
Quack the most is Blade, who will see the whole league shift around him this week as wins/loses
change the playoff brackets. A win here would be a big help, especially with MwR on the horizon in the
final week. Final Turkey edge goes to Mewelde Moore against Cleveland, with a bonus point going to
Warner who should some chops against Jacksonville.
