Baltimore Tools vs. Born to Run My Mouth
It’s been a week for the Tools.  Reeling from their first loss in three weeks, I have spent all week trying to
determine the best team to play as my RB’s take the week off.  What’s a brother to do?  He plays the
best he can.  At the beginning of the season, I forfeited this game to Kiss, knowing it would be a tough
one.  Then I saw his team play and had a good laugh.  I’m still laughing today.  Sure, I may be putting up
Pass and Faulk, but you’re sending Barber (not the good one) and Jones out there.  Sorry guy – I revoke
my forfeit.
PICK: TOOLS

Married With Ravens vs. Five Second Stare
Great match up this week.  Two teams that have struggled at times this season, but still sit high in the
middle of the pack, you’re due to some high scoring games.  This week should be high scoring too, if
Culpepper can continue to gain momentum from last week’s big win.  Look for the Ravens to enjoy a
good day from Jones and Clark, but suffer a little with McGahee against NE and Burress against
Washington.  As for Five – Keshawn and Galloway have a chance to shine again for this squad.  In the
four times they two of them started together, Five is 2-2, with the two wins coming the times they both
scored 10 or more. Tough call, but I like Five in this one.
PICK: FIVE BREAKS UP MARRIAGE

Blade Brown vs. Nose
While Nose is a surprising 5-2, those wins have come against all but one sub .500 team (the one team
with more wins than losses? Colts).  Now Nose takes on the 3-4 Browns, who last week got their first
win in four games.  Brown could use another one to build his team up for a Playoff run.  Nose this week
will shine with Palmer returning to form, and Steven Jackson getting some yards at home.  Defense
could be a problem for Nose – considering he currently doesn’t have one.  As for Blade, Owens should
gain some points against Denver, while Anderson and Brown should enjoy a couple of 10 point games.
With the Chicago team in top form facing a battered Garcia, I’m giving the edge to Brown
PICK: BROWN NOSE

New Jersey Jacobins vs. Brick Walls & Trees
While the Jacobins have stumbled this season, Brick Walls has been sturdy as a… Anyhow, this
weekend will quite a test, as Bulger continues to ride the bench and Josh McCown faces a tough
challenge at Big D.  If Jordan and Westbrook can have above average games at home, Brick will pull this
out.  But with cracks showing in the Wall, Jacobins have a chance to get his team back on track.  Moss
returns (we think) to Oakland, but Tiki will be stopped in Washington.  If Droughns can attack the
Houston defense and score twice, Jacobins will take the win.  It is ALL on his shoulders.  That said, I
never underestimate a 7-0 team, so…
PICK: JACOBINS CAN’T GET OVER WALL

Duckville Quackers vs. Colt .45s
A White Sox win means Gregg has returned to New York a full week prior to getting married (t minus 7
days and counting).  It also means he can fully focus on his team.  Ward is finally 100% healthy, and
should see some action Monday night vs. a depleted Ravens team.  Portis (3 TDs!) could have found his
spunk and will ride again against the Giants, and Chad Johnson is… well, Chad Johnson.  Meanwhile,
Qauckers won their first game with McNabb, now can they make it two in a row?  Not with Moore and
Stecker running, and not without Harrison.  If Farve doesn’t screw it up to much for Colts, look for the
man to take a win before the big day.
PICK: COLTS SHUT THE QUACK

Brock’s Bandits vs. propoganda
Brock took a beating last week. Nick has taken one all year.  With Chris Simms starting at QB, and
Sproles still seeing starting time, this week seems no different for the Russian.  Brock will need to get
some help from Patten, Branch and Chris Perry this week, with Alexander on a bye.  And yes, it is THAT
Chris Perry, RB for Cinncy.  Yes, Brock is starting two RB’s from Cinncy.  This could be a hell of an upset,
but it won’t be.
PICK: BANDITS BEAT THE COMMIES

Shermtanks vs. Nomads in the Deep
It is over before it begins – with no Manning and no passing game in Baltimore (thus making Jamal’s
presence pointless), Tanks won’t put up much of a fight against Nomads.  The 5-2 Defending Champ
will see some solid numbers from Steve Smith (enjoy the week off?), Holmes, and the Dallas D.  As I
said, it is over before it beings.
PICK: TANKS STOP FOR NOMADS
