Fighting Blue Crabs vs
Baltimore Tools

Maryland Vs. Maryland.  Any way you cut it, the state reigns
supreme.  No other State is represented as strongly.  This could be
a good match, but with the Tools fully intact (only swapping out
Redskin running backs as they heal) and the Crabs losing Ward
and the proficient Pitt D this week, it could be the Tools cracking
open the Crabs.

PICK: TOOLS

Shermtanks vs
Five Second Stare

The Battle of the Jay’s.  Sherman’s heads into his second week of
crucial bye’s, this time effected by the loss of Javon Walker and
Willie Parker. JJ Arrington get’s the start for Fast Willie, and Greg
Jennings (who probably won’t be able to duplicate last weeks feat
against the Eagles on Monday night) steps in for Walker.  On the
flip side, Cantor only loses Galloway this week - a big factor in his
week 2 win over labor.  This is a crucial game for both, but I’m
going to have to give the edge to Cantor: Tanks playmaker is
facing the Baltimore D, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

PICK: SCARING THE TANK WITH THAT
SCARE

labor power vs
OC Beach Ballers

I can just picture these two heading the ocean – that would be the
Atlantic Ocean – and starring at each other from across the way.
Thinking.  Pondering.  Wondering.  Of course, that’s totally gay, so
maybe not. labor has some serious issues with his team. OC has
some issues with his.  I am seriously having a difficult time picking a
winner this week.  OC obviously has a lot of weapons with
Culpepper (against Houston people… HOUSTON!), Moss, Coles,
and Wayne... But Westbrook’s injury could slow him down, Jordan
is worthless and Buffalo could finally face a challenge against
Minnesota.   labor looks a smidge better with Dunn, Jones, Gates
and Delhomme.  But look at Darrell Jackson against Chicago, and
San Diego against Baltimore. Tough call.  FINE! Nick’s gotta win at
some point – give it to the underdog.

PICK: labor OVER BEACH

Nose vs
Dorfman

What’s there to say here?  Dorf is having a rough season so far,
and with Charlie Frye at the helm, it could get worse. Of course
Frye get’s Oakland this week.  Tac on Chambers and Ronnie B
against Houston and maybe there is hope.  Oh course that means
he has to get by Palmer, Jackson, Dillon and the Dallas D taking on
Kerry Collins.  Sorry Dorf, but it looks like 0-4 for you.

PICK: NOSE OUT SNOTS DORF
Inching Worms vs
Born to Run My Mouth

Shaun’s injured; Cadillac, Miller and Manning are on a bye – is it
any wonder that Yahoo has Born projected to score 75 points?
Worms haven’t been phenomenal this year, but they have also lost
a few close ones.  Even with 8 of his 9 players on the road this
week, look for this one to be no contest for the Worms.

PICK: BORN GETS WORMS – THE BAD KIND

New Jersey Jacobins vs
Brock’s Bandits

The Battle of the Hands heads into it’s 5th year in a dead heat. Also,
Dave placed second, with Brock a not so distant third last year.
This year, Brock’s a powerhouse, bravely – and barely – winning
his first three games.  With Tiki taking a week of rest after a
miserable loss last week, the Jacobins may benefit in the future…
but not this week.

PICK: BANDITS INVADE JERSEY

Nomads in the Deep vs
Canton FC

The Champ is a shell of his former self.  The King is dead. Long live
the King.  With neither one affected strongly by “bye” weeks this
week, it’s a straight grudge match.  Nomads welcomes back a
healthy Steve Smith, and enjoys LJ against San Fran and the
possibility that Gore will play. Meanwhile, Canton is 2-1, and that
one loss was very close.  Look for Baltimore to beat up on Rivers,
Welker to enjoy playing against Houston.  While I have some
hesitations calling Canton a clear winner, I’m going to give this
game a 4 point spread… in favor of Canton.

PICK: THE CHAMP AT 1-3???
