anti-trust vs. Baltimore Tools
Anyone else miss Nick? Sure he's been vocal on the message board, but
I want him back. I'm sick of these international countries taking him for
years at a time. COME BACK NICK! COME BACK! Oh, and you're going
to lose this week. Seriously. This is my late season run to make the
playoffs and it... is... on!!!
PICK: TOOLS
Shermtanks vs. Five Second Stare
Ah, yes. Battle of the Jay's. Currently Mr. Sherman leads the series 3-2,
but in five meetings they are separated in points by a mere 0.94. And
Cantor and Sherman like their Week 11 games like they like their women:
Tight. Cantor has only outscored Week 11 opponents by 8 points, and
Sherman, just under 2. Funny I should bring this up. In their one and
only previous Week 11 meeting, Sherman outscored Cantor by just 4.17
points (their only match to be separated by less than 20). Sooooo… it’s
going to be close. It’s going to be good. And Sherman is going to get the
win
PICK: TANKS
Born to Run My Mouth vs. RandomThoughts
Yeung has certainly been Kiss’d by a rose: He is currently on a two-game
win streak against Born and has won 4 out of their 5 meetings. Oh, and
that most recent win? A 64.03 – 54.44 win in… yep, you guess it: Week
11, 2006. So what does 2007 hold? Yep, you guessed it: A Kiss win
(wait, that wasn’t what you guessed. Or was it?). Yeah, I don’t love
Maurice Morris, but I like Vince Young even less.
PICK: BORN
Nose vs. Brock's Bandits
Brock's Back! Brock's Back! And even though Blass’ franchise is currently
holding a 4-1 series lead, AND has outscored the Bandits by 155, I still
can’t pick against Brock. At least not until A) Brady or Moss gets injured
or B) Brady or Moss get benched because they have already solidified
home field advantage in the playoffs. And the latter should happen right
around the time of the ROFF Bowl…
PICK: BROCK
Fighting Blue Crabs vs. BushMaroney'07
Our Maryland boys face off. When last we left these two, Lukin followed a
forty point beating of Gregg in Week 12 with a ROFF Bowl Playoff Week 1
25 point beating. Gee, think that pissed Gregg off? So what should we
expect this week? Perhaps another thrashing? After all Lukin has some
very favorable matchups, with key players going against Houston,
Arizona, Buffalo and Cleveland. I’m hoping that it will be closer, especially
if Jones or Lewis can get it going on the ground. In the end, you know
me: Go with history.
PICK: BM07
Nomads in the Deep vs. The Next Google
Ah best friend and roommates. I can totally imagine these two and
Sherman and I starting a ROFF frat house in NYC. Anyone else want to
move into “the house?” Moving on: It’s been a busy week for both – Scott
rocking some hot dates and Navid rocking some major ROFF controversy
(and Branch isn’t even getting the start!). It’s the end of the season and
this is where Sadri’s Nomads shine. In fact, he and Scott have met twice
before in Week 11 games, with Scott coming on the losing side of both. I
have no reason to guess this year will be any different.
PICK: NOMADS
Hungry Horses vs. New Jersey Jacobins
Parker to win.
