RandomThoughts vs. Baltimore Tools
I'm no fool - Brian has a great team that just under-preformed last week.
This week will be clearly different. But here's what else I know: My team
will be different too. Better. Stronger. Faster. Beware the Bionic Tools.
PICK: TOOLS
Hungry Horses vs. Five Second Stare
It's hard not to pick Cantor after the beating he handed me last week.
And considering Stare's 4-1 record against the Horses... And tack on the
fact that the one loss Team Stare had came in 2002... when they were
called Whiskey N' Rye NY... Well then I think it's all Stare.
PICK: HORSES RUN FROM STARE
New Jersey Jacobins vs. Brock's Bandits
Brock clearly has the advantage here considering how badly he beat up
this league last week. But will Brady and Moss be the same now that they
aren't stealing signals? I think the bad karma alone makes me want to
take Dave in this one (here comes the hate... I was so enjoying the love)
PICK: JACOBINS FIGHT BACK BANDITS
anti-trust vs. BushMaroney'07
Poor Nick: Forced to start Ron Dayne and hold out hope on a broken
down Caddy. And this week he has to face Josh, who has dominated the
series 4-1. And that one loss? 2005 when Nick won by just 0.09. I have a
feeling that Bush will pick it up this week (and hopefully for me, Deuce too)
and Josh will take this easily. Sorry Nick... but next time spell my name
right!
PICK: BUSH BUILDS TRUST
Shermtanks vs. The Next Google
It's hard to pick against Scott in this considering the week he had... and
the week Jason had. But every other year since our inaugrial season
these two have swapped wins. Scott seems to get the W on the even
years. Guess what - This is an odd year.
PICK: TANKS GO LOW TECH FOR THE W
Born to Run My Mouth vs. Nomads in the Deep
Only three teams currently hold a winning record against Nomads: Gregg,
Brock and Richard Kiss. Last year, Born smacked Nomads in Week 2,
beating him by 27 points. Of course this was the first of two losses
before... well, before the 9-game winning streak\massacre. This year Kiss
has the tools and the better matchups. Possibly my "no brainer" of the
week (uh-oh, did I just add a jinx?).
PICK: MOUTH TAKES IN DEEP
Nose vs. Fighting Blue Crabs
I'm loving Gregg's team: The underdog that has overcome the critics to
come back and take a Week 1 win. Now the Bandwagon in Annapolis is
rolling and everyone wants on. But beware of the jumpers as Nose comes
in this week. Mainly cause I'm loving his team more.
PICK: NOSE FIGHTS OFF THE PINCH
