Nomads in the Deep vs. Baltimore Tools
What a week to get the Champ. Roeth on a Bye (Anderson the fill in while
Bulger is benched), Furrey on a Bye. Gore on a Bye. Walker on a Bye. KJ
on a Bye. It's like I won the Bye lottery. No really, I signed up and I won!
The Bye lottery! It's just Sonic good!
PICK: TOOLS

The Next Google vs. Five Second Stare
Cantor and Watson are playing virtually full teams.  And Yahoo has
Cantor taking the win by 20 points. But that's... why... they.. play... the...
game... And let's be honest: If Pennington can be a better QB than he
has been and get Coles the rock, then we might have a game here. I
think Watson has some favorable matchups - and toss on the fact that
Watson owns this matchup 4-1 (and a 2004 first round playoff win)  - and
I'm calling for the upset!
PICK: GOOGLE STUNS STARE

BushMaroney'07 vs. RandomThoughts
This year - and lifetime - Josh is good.  But Yeung is HOT NOW. Yahoo
has it close, and I would agree. Yeung will benefit from Rivers against
Oakland and Ronnie being thrown up the gut every chance the 'Phins
get.  Josh could benefit from Palmer against KC, but will hurt without a
reasonable backup for Maroney (sorry Kenny) and Bush playing Seattle
(which is much better than they look).  Another upset here people as
Yeung knocks off one of our 4-1's.
PICK: RANDOM BEATS UP BUSH

Hungry Horses vs. Brock's Bandits
The Horses got smacked around pretty good last weekend? Does that
make me scared to pick them? Heck yeah! Especially with an injured
Addai and Harrison on a bye... AND a dropped Vince Young filling in for
Jay Cutler.  But Brock could see some lower points with Brady\Moss
facing a tough challenge in Dallas. Plus I have concerns on Brock's RB
front: James is so-so (and may face pressure with a slow Warner in the
backfield), Rudi has the start for now but his injuries could be an issue
come game time.  What happens if he's scratched? A regular week, Leon
Washington would be a decent backup, but not against Philly.  It's a tough
call, but I'd be a fool to bet against Brock. So, against Brock's wishes, I'm
picking him.
PICK: BANDITS RIDE THE HORSES INTO THE
GROUND
New Jersey Jacobins vs. Fighting Blue Crabs
Gregg deserves a bounce back week.  Will that happen with Manning on
the bench? After all, Manning has scored 25% of the Crabs total points.
Probably not.  Dave is riding a two-game win streak against the Crabs and
I think he'll extend it easily to three. (Sorry Dave - I'm calling you to win
another)
PICK: JACOBINS DINE ON CRABS

anti-trust vs. Nose
Uh-oh. Wayne's taking a week off. There is 10 - 15 points that the trust
won't see this week.  Of course, Nose won't have Marshawn, who won him
the game last week.  This is going to be low scoring week for both, but I'm
giving the edge to Nose's Smith who should get in sync with Carr against
Arizona.
PICK: THUMBING HIS NOSE AT THE ANTI

Shermtanks vs. Born to Run My Mouth
Tanks need to get back in the win column and Born needs to keep the
momentum going.  Rich could find himself in tough spot with Romo who, if
he throws for another five picks, won't be able to redeem himself against
New England. Luckily Housh returns to face KC and Shaun is going to be
running against New Orleans (could be a bounce back for him). As for
Tanks, he has a history of winning on his kickers bye week. But I'm not
feeling it this time, unless LT is worth tons. I'm betting on Rich getting his
fifth win for the first time since Week 5, 2004.
PICK: MOUTH BITES THE TANKS
