Double G vs. B'Day (√)
The hottest team in ROFFL taking on the coldest. Scott started the season on a crazy 8-1 run, dropping only that first game. But the last four have
been poor to say the least, thanks to three sub 100 performances. A lot of that falls on Portis' shoulders, as he has been out or sub par the last few
weeks. Can Scott pull it together in time for this week? He's going to have to cause he faces Brian who spent the last four weeks playing himself into a
playoff spot, including a 134 point performance in Week 12. With some solid matchups, players playing for their own playoffs, and with Portis taking
on the Baltimore D, I'm calling the upset as B'Day beats G.

Nomads in the Deep (√) vs. Soaring Pigs
I never thought I'd see Parker here. His sting of five losses in a row, starting in Week 5, was scary. He lost by a point or two or three each time before
the Tanks just destroyed him in Week 9. But that seemed to be a wake up call, and in the final game of the season, with the playoffs on the line, he
pushed himself into a 147.20 point game. Sure, most of the credit goes to McNabb and Westbrook, but hasn't Parkers whole season come down to
them? Nomads meanwhile has posted high scores, every week in the 90's or 100's. At most he's strung together just a series of three wins. Neither
team has very favorable matchups this weekend (Pigs facing the Giants D; Nomads facing NYJ and Arizona's D). Add on the Wes Welker injury and
Parker could struggle. In a close game, I'm giving the edge to Nomads.

Coffee on 3rd vs. Shermtanks (√)
Where did Coffee come from this season? After a quiet start, Josh complied just enough wins to sneak into the playoffs. His team  hasn't been
dominate this year, in fact they've been a little bi-poler with as many 70ish performances as 120+. Shermtanks, on the other hand, has been. In his
first nine games he scored 100 or more each week with the exception of one. Since then, his team has remained a high point scored, but it was Week
13 that he seemed to regain his mojo with a 147.87 performance - his best showing of the season. While I think his Pitt D won't be a strong as their
27 point performance last week, I like LT to blow up Oakland and the Tanks to advance.

Born To Run My Mouth (√) vs. New Jersey Jacobins
Dave deserves all the credit that is going his way. To play himself out of a Tom Brady jam and into the playoffs? Amazing. But after weeks of keeping
himself dominate, he became Cantors second victim when he couldn't post 70 points in Week 9. Since that loss he has gone 2-2, losing his last two
games. It's been a different story for Born who has hit the century mark in his last three games, including a season high 153.85 points last week
against Brock. I think Dave's miracle season ends this week as Rich get's his first playoff win... ever.

That’s all I got for this, Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Good luck to the final eight.

The regular season ends and the winner of the Swami Predictions Showdown is....

Yahoo?

Congrats to Scott, who beat out the humans who played. 54 was not bad, but it could have been a lot better had you played the last two
weeks.  Speaking of, congrats to Brian, the only non-Swami to make predictions ever single week.
