Week 10

QUICK NOTES
  1. Congratulations to the winners of week 10
  2. Quote of the week, “Mr. Potter must not come back to Hogwarts"
  3. The Good Looking Quote of Last Week: “Cedric Benson might finally win the starting job in Chicago."
  4. Gregg, seriously, tell your sister-in-law I’d like another shot.
  5. NY/NJ Chapter, I want to start a Dodgeball team, who’s in?
  6. I will never admit that any of you are better looking then me.

HANDSOME (BEAUTIFUL) NOMADS IN THE DEEP (last week: NOMADS IN THE DEEP) – I think the top three teams
have officially differentiated themselves from the rest of the pack and Navid leads the group.  He had an off week
from Steve Smith and got nothing from his defense but he still managed about 100 points and tripled up Nick.  Expect
Smith to get back in line and Navid to make plenty of noise in the playoffs.

HOT BRICK WALLS AND TREES (last week: BRICK WALLS AND TREES) – Scott continued his run of being
undefeated when Marc Bulger is in the line up and Brian Westbrook will obviously benefit with T.O. out the rest of the
season.  As I've said all year, I still think Watty's wide outs is the weak link on the team but they had great a week last
week and Reggie Wayne (and the Colts offense) seem to have really woken up.  Also, being that he is usable as
both a TE and a RB, you cannot underestimate the value of Chris Cooley.  That's right, Chris Cooley.

SEXY SEXY BROCK'S BANDITS (last week: BROCK'S BANDITS) – Brock and his nice ass rounds out the big 3 in
this league and I don't think he's far off from the 2 more attractive teams in front of him.  He has the second best
fantasy player in all of football, big game Holt is healthy and the Brady and Branch connection has been pretty
flawless most of the season.  After kicking my ass last week, Brock's team gets better as Rudi Johnson comes back
from the bye.

GOOD-LOOKING NEW JERSEY JACOBINS (last week: NOSE) – Dave has successfully turned his season back
around.  After falling off the map last month, he's won three in a row and has done so convincingly.  Sticking with
Droughns has been a good move for Dave and he also is one of the few times surprisingly deep at wide receiver.  He
has Bennett and Lee Evans (players that might be starting for about 10 other teams) on his bench.  After by far
having the worst team in our league last season, he now, like the flip-mode squad, has one of the most dangerous.

CUTE NOSE (last week: FIVE SECOND STARE) - Blass takes a bit of step back as he had a tough loss with half of
his team on the bye.  He will finally have his top-3 wide receivers starting in week 10 (he's 2-0 when they all start)
and will get both Brown and Palmer back from byes.  Jarrett's team is one of the most balanced in the league and will
be a major threat come playoff time.

ATTRACTIVE COLT .45'S (last week: BLADE BROWN) - Whether you want to have sex with him or not, it was nice to
see Mr. Moore come up with the big 'W.'  Perhaps the emergence of a running game in Green Bay will get Favre
back on track.  Don't forget that Moore spots a dangerous threesome at wide receiver and a Clinton Portis that
doesn't mine running for a touchdown.  The big, and really the only, issue is the 2nd running back spot where right
now Alvin Pearman is starting in week 10.  Gregg's team reminds me of '04 team, it was pretty balanced except for Ty
Wheatley at the #2 RB.  I lost in the first round of the playoffs.

DECENT BLADE BROWN (last week: MARRIED WITH RAVENS) - So far the trade for Andre Johnson has benefited
the Blade.  Right now though, there are a lot of question marks for Brian.  How many carries will Anderson get?  How
many carries will Brown get?  Which Kerry Collins shows up?  Will Andre Johnson remember that he was good?
Does Joey Porter realize he makes $5 million a year?  Does David Akers ever get tired of it?  Just too many
questions not answered to be rated higher than decent.

EH FIVE SECOND STARE (last week: DUCKVILLE QUACKERS) - What a pitiful performance last week.  I'd like to
see Braylon contribute right away and thankfully I don't have to look at Kevan Barlow anymore (though I don't think it
was a bad trade for Kiss who already has Gore).  This week I obviously get the return of L.T. so hopefully my season
can turn back around in a must win game against [snaps is the name of the game, you just have to think about it,
snap, you should all know who I'm talking about, snap, snap, snap, snap, so now you all know] Sherman.  Good luck
brother.

NOT INTERESTED MARRIED WITH RAVENS (last week: NEW JERSEY JACOBINS) - Lukin's team gets a big boost
with the return of Thomas Jones this week.  He has a nice bunch of receivers, although one has to imagine how good
Josh's team would be if Jackson did not get injured and he did not have to trade Fitz.  As the team stands now, with
Jones' return, he has a much better team than his record shows.  Except an upset this week against the only other
married member of ROFF.

IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH (last week: COLT .45'S) - Nice win for the Cajun Kiss.
And in what is the most interesting storyline of week 10, watch out for Antwaan Randle El.  If Maddox goes down,
Randle El will play QB and create some interesting numbers for BORN.  I do think that Barlow is an upgrade for Kiss
at RB and he only gave up a guy sitting on his bench in Braylon.  Also, nice pick up in the Carolina's D, which has
gotten better each week.

NOT GOOD LOOKING BALTIMORE TOOLS (last week: BALTIMORE TOOLS) - Marc's team has not been lucky, he
has more points than the 4th and 7th seeds.  Also, Martin has been far less effective with the Jets lack of a passing
game, Big Ben has been much better than his keeper, Trent Green, when Big Ben has been healthy, which he's not.
The good news was the re-emergence of Roy Williams, who had a sick week for Marc last week but for some reason
is being sit in week 10….. for…. Bobby Engram?

ONLY FOR $1 MILLION DUCKVILLE QUACKERS (last week: PROPAGANDA) - I give Parker a lot of credit for going
out on a limb and trying to improve his team.  The Fitzgerald deal, the McNabb deal, and the Dillon deal were gutsy
moves that I thought made Parker's team better at the time.  Unfortunately injuries have finally caught up to Parker.
Dillon is out, McNabb is out, Julius Jones is not out, but might as well be.  Warner, Gado and Bettis were all nice pick
ups for Parker who I still think can win out and sneak in.

IF I WAS BLIND SHERMTANKS (last week: BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH) - I'll give the Tanks some dap here.  It was a
great come from behind victory on Monday with big help from L.J. Smith and Terry Glenn.  KJ had a good week 9 and
Antowain Smith has played well for the Saints since the injury to Deuce.  Interesting that this year, Brian traded Dillon
because he was sick to look at him, Jarrett did the same with J.J. and Jason did the same with Jamal.  Y'all spiteful
motherfuckers.  The key for Jason has been Peyton's re-emergence as the best fantasy QB in the league.  That
alone might mean at least 2 more wins.

GROSS PROPAGANDA (last week: SHERMTANKS) - I had to drop Nick back down because of the lowest score in
ROFF thing.  But at 4-6, he's just as much in the playoff race as anyone.  Obviously Gates on the bye really hurt
Nick but it looks like his team is just too injured to contend right now.  To make the playoffs he'll have to rely heavily
on Simms to continue to play well, Davis and Bruce to get healthy and Gates continually carrying the team on his
back.
