Quote of the week, ““We've been going about this all wrong, this Mr. Stay Puft's okay, he's a sailor, he's in New York, we get this guy laid we won't have any trouble.”
The Good Looking Quote of Last Week: “Looks like we can't bury the Tanks just yet."
Happy Birthday G. Money
I will never admit that any of you are better looking then me.
HANDSOME (BEAUTIFUL) BROCK'S BANDITS (last week: BRICK WALLS AND TREES) – Brock and Scott's teams are still clearly 1 and 2. Both have issues in week 7, Brock with byes, Watson with a big injury. Brock will start the comeback player of the year in Brunell… but he does suffer a bit at wide receiver with the loss of Branch. Just looking at his starting line-up, if they're healthy and starting, there's no reason to think Brock, and his nice ass, will stop winning.
HOT BRICK WALLS AND TREES (last week: BROCK’S BANDITS) – Scott's team looks slightly weaker now with the injury to Bulger. McCown has played well but he's not a safe play. The wide receiver situation for Scott has played better than I thought. Stallworth has benefited from Horn's injury and Wayne had a good Monday Night. The Raiders are supposed to be running the ball a bit more so Watson's team might get even better. He's already 6 - 0… pretty scary.
SEXY NOMADS IN THE DEEP (last week: NOMADS IN THE DEEP) – Navid is involved in the game of the week in week 7 against Brock. Navid's team loses a bit of steam with Steve Smith on the bye this week, but he still sports one of the most balance teams in the ROFFL. Holmes hasn't been as good as previous years and it'll be interested to see when he gets drafted next year. Dunn has played well and Matt Hasselbeck and Steve McNair give Navid a good starter and good backup. Like I just said, and like Mr. Miyagi says, balance baby, balance.
GOOD-LOOKING NOSE (last week: MARRIED WITH RAVENS) – It took Jarrett 7 weeks to pick up his fourth win last year, and only 1 night to pick up the flu…e. Jarrett has two of the top three scorers in all of fantasy, and he doesn't even start Bledsoe. Carson Palmer was a great pick and Anquan Boldin (another great pick) returns from a bye to bolster his wide outs. I still don't agree with the idea of starting Ricky Williams over Chris Brown (who has a good match up against the Cards). But I understand wanting to start Ricky so you don't miss his breakout game. Wait a minute, no I don't. He should be starting Brown.
CUTE BALTIMORE TOOLS (last week: COLT .45’S) - With Curtis Martin recharged Marc's team has become a lot better. Santana Moss has been a beast and also the only man Scott Watson has jerked off to. His other wide receivers are a little weak so Marc has to win with big efforts from about 4 players. A lot of times, that's all it takes. Interesting move starting Green over Roethlisberger, I thought he was your boy?
ATTRACTIVE COLT .45'S (last week: NOSE) - G. Money scores points for allowing me to bang his future wife. Thanks for nothing Lukin, what kind of friend are you? Despite Ward being off last week with injury it must've been nice to see Kevin Jones run for 25 yards on 12 carries. With Favre, Johnson, and Ward the .45's are top heavy but Portis apparently goes blind in the red zone and Marcel Shipp and JJ Arrington haven't proven anything yet. Still, at 4 - 2, whether you want to have sex with him or not, Greggggg has a big game this week against the undefeated Scotty Watts, and if he wins, I just might take Karen out for an evening.
DECENT MARRIED WITH RAVENS (last week: BALTIMORE TOOLS) - It's official, Culpepper sucks. But, and I know this might be wishful thinking, Nate Burelson returns to the line up (oh yea, they were 0-2 when he was in the line up) so hopefully for Joshy, he can help bolster Daunte's numbers. He has two freak wide receivers starting in Fitzgerald and Burress and he has one coming back from injury at around our playoff time (I think Lukin will survive). Even though it hasn't been easy to decide who to start, when it comes down to it, Jones and McGahee have eyes for the end zone and that makes us one GM very happy (when Willie Parker isn't starting).
EH FIVE SECOND STARE (last week: NEW JERSEY JACOBINS) - I get scared when I stop thinking my team is ugly. I do not like ranking them high. But I've been getting better than expected play from my vets (Galloway / Keyshawn) and my kids (Bell / Witten). Tomlinson is scary good and thankfully his presence keeps me in the contest each week. The key now is Tatum Bell. If he takes on the full load, a la Parker Deay, my team might end up on in the red by seasons end.
NOT INTERESTED NEW JERSEY JACOBINS (last week: SHERMTANKS) - After a fast start, Dave's team has been in a bit of a decline. Losing Bennett for the season hurt, but losing Moss for a week hurt morer. With his iffy wide receiver situation and only Tiki Barber holding it down at running back, Dave needs to get big things out of a struggling Tony G. and even more from Droughns or Bettis.
IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME BLADE BROWN (last week: BLADE BROWN) - You just know T.O. and Blade are in for a big week (against me, obviously). The running back situation has hurt B. Yeung this year with a struggling Dillon (on a bye) and the rookie Brown and Anderson (losing touches to Bell). But his team is far from done. He has a good back-up if he wants to bench Collins and his wide outs are very TD heavy. The most interesting match up of the week is Anderson vs. Bell this week as Blade takes on me, Five Second Sexy Bitch.
NOT GOOD LOOKING SHERMTANKS (last week: DUCKVILLE QUACKERS) - The trade looked good at first as Sherman picked up his first W. But now KJ has a sprained ankle and in a bold (but probably good) move, Jamal Lewis gets benched for Antwain Smith. My first year in this illustrious league was 2003… if someone would have told me that Smith will be starting over Lewis back then I would have told you that I don't think the Vikings will trade Onterrio Smith. If you would have said it was Antwain Smith, I would have said he'd be retired by '05. The point of the story, things change in time. Despite their age, Jason does have a set of very solid receivers who can all put up numbers and help carry the RB's on their backs.
ONLY FOR $1 MILLION DUCKVILLE QUACKERS (last week: FIVE SECOND STARE) - The McNabb era starts now. Parker is in trouble at wide out, refusing to part with Andre Johnson (I don't blame you) means that Parker doesn't have enough wide receivers to start this week. He has an explosive backfield combo with Jones and Moore but the potential has to start turning into reality to help his fantasy, you see? This is a big week for Parker against Jay… I think the winner of this match up sneaks in the rear (just how Marc likes it) of the playoffs.
IF I WAS BLIND BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH (last week: BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH) - I'm sorry, I like Kiss's team. I like Eli starting at QB, I like the trade for McCardell, I like that Cadillac will be healthy next week and that Fred Taylor will as well. But this week he starts a keeper bust in Green and Dominic Rhodes. I thought Coles was going to be a steal, we were both wrong. I won't count out Kiss until he has 8 losses.
GROSS PROPAGANDA (last week: PROPAGANDA) - I know, he's won two in a row and hasn't left the Grossest spot in the league. But honestly, Vick is terrible at this fantasy stuff, Bruce is still hurt, Deuce is done for the year, he's starting a questionable Darren Sporles and Gus Frerotte. I know a win is a win is a win and I'm truly happy for Nick, I'm rooting for him, but I think luck has played too much of a role these past two weeks. However, If Nick the Quick pulls off what I think would be an upset over Rick Kiss, whose team I'd only do if I was blind, Nick's Communist Regime would catapult. I will say this too, his team is getting by with some key injuries. When Bruce returns, if Simms is a good QB or if Vick can start throwing, if Jurevicius keeps playing this way, Nick might surprise a few of us and it's almost a lock he'll beat the crap out of my team the last week of the regular season.
