QUICK NOTES
- An eventful week on the post board. Nice to see you guys holding your own without me there to carry the load
- I mean, I really love women.
- Next review will be “Casino Royale”
- Did you guys see the new “Spider-man 3” trailer? Where is Venom? I’m starting to get nervous about this. He IS in
the film right?
- New favorite song, “Black Devil Car” – Jamiroquai
- I got an e-mail in the Sports Guy’s column, worth mentioning again.
- I’m still better looking than all of you.

HANDSOME - NOMADS IN THE DEEP Another great week from the champ, and I'll give him the nod
over Jason despite his sizzling two weeks. It just warrants mentioning that Navid has Maurice Jones-
Drew and Jerremy Stevens on his bench. They'd both be starting on other teams, especially Jones-
Drew. Now here's the question, is this a good thing? I think Navid has the best team, but having to
decide who to start and who to bench each week could lead to some major second-guessing. So is
having too much talent a good thing? Or a bad thing? Discuss.
HOT - SHERMTANKS It makes sense that Jason would land here. He certainly has the hottest team
in the league right now. With LDT literally running over the entire NFL (which reminds me of the year
I won) and the homerun threats of Walker, Parker, and the ridiculous play of Rivers, Jason could find
himself in 1st place. Or could he find himself in second? Remember, in 2003, Jason had a lot of
stock in the Colts (Manning, Wayne, and Vanderjagt) and in the championship week, the three failed
him. With two of his biggest point getters on the same team, Jason might find himself in the same
situation.
SEXY - CANTON FC Steve McNair really saved Lukin last week. I suppose it's fitting that a Raven
did the job for the guy. Of the top three teams, Lukin's is by far the weakest. Not to say that Josh
has a bad team, because he obviously doesn't. The good news is that Hasselbeck is a week away
from returning which makes the FC will have him in the playoffs. Reggie Bush showed some signs of
fantasy life again, and I don't think Jeremy Shockey is going to be that bad again this season. Maybe
Lukin will do a last minute trade for a wide receiver, he certainly needs one.
GOOD-LOOKING - NOSE I speak with Jarrett from time to time because he's my best friend, ya
know. But we both agreed on something that I thought was relatively odd. The Nose's team is very
dependent on Donte` Stallworth. If Stallworth plays very well, than Jarrett has a better team than
Lukin and is just a hair behind Jason and Navid. The problem is that with Stallworth, you never know
and Jarrett just does not have the depth to handle an injury. One injury to his RB's or WR's and his
championship hopes might be done.
CUTE - OC BEACH BALLERS There is only so many weeks you can win with Damon Huard as your
starting QB. Scott has correctly made the switch to Jake Plummer, but there's only so many weeks
you can win with him too. The Kevin Jones trade has obviously worked out well for Scott but his wide
receivers are really lacking now. Mark Clayton has been playing well, but both Moss and Coles have
struggled in the last few weeks. Will Coles continue to struggle? Will Moss be able to get into a good
grove with Jason Campbell? Scott's team looks to be creating more questions as opposed to
answering them. To be continued….
ATTRACTIVE - FIGHTING BLUE CRABS I think this Is a well deserved jump for the Crabs, whether
you want to have sex with him or not. He has stuck with his team and now is on the top tier of points
and sits at 5-5. I'm sure we all got Gregg's trade e-mail, but if I was him, I wouldn't move a muscle
unless he can make a move equivalent to Scott and Nick's deal. In order for Gregg to win, he needs
good games from his QB and all his WR's (Chad Johnson was re-donk-ulous last week), they're the
only strengths of his team, but they can carry the Crabs to a 'W.' DeAngelo Williams return could be a
nice lift for G. Money. If all else fails, he still returns kicks.
DECENT - BALTIMORE TOOLS Marc takes the big fall because of the injury to Clinton Portis. At 5-5
Marc is in a bit more trouble than Gregg. Looking at his team now, without Portis, the squad looks
much less potent. He has to hope Trent Green regains his starting QB job soon, because it'll be hard
to win with J.P. Losman as your starter. I will say this, I agree that Chadwick Pennington is not a good
start against the Bears.
EH - BROCK'S BANDITS Brock has finally admitted that he has no clue what to expect from his
team anymore. That's nice to hear, but at 6-4, the man with the nicest ass in the league is still in OK
shape. He still has two big time backs in Jones and Johnson, and I'm sure Tom Brady will not
continue this type of play throughout the season. The inconsistency has really hurt the Bandit's this
season. If he can right his ship, he will be tough to deal with in the playoffs. I still think the WR's are
his weakest point. With the trade deadline coming up soon, is there anyone on his squad that you
want to trade for? No, seriously, is there?
NOT INTERESTED - NEW JERSEY JACOBINS The Jacobins are due for a win (which makes sense,
considering he's playing me this week… good luck buddy. The battle of the teachers has
commenced). I've said for most of the year that Dave's team has underperformed and I am still
waiting for them to explode. He has the rushing leader and a good secondary back. The trade
for Mike Furrey could be a huge help because Dave really needed that 3rd wide out. Even at 4-6, I
think Dave's team will make the playoffs. Hopefully this means he goes 6-7, winning in weeks 12 and
13.
IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME - labor power I have to say, I am super impressed with what Nick
has done to his team from across the Atlantic. I mean, I think there's a strong possibility that he beats
RRTT this week. If Nick goes 5-8, after the start he had, I would vote for him as manager of the year
(well, maybe 2nd behind Navid). He has totally re-shaped his team into a winner. If he doesn't make
the playoffs (you can't count him out yet), he will play a major spoiler roll down the stretch.
NOT GOOD LOOKING - FIVE SECOND STARE I know what you're thinking, why after a loss, do I
finally upgrade my team? I'm sure you were thinking that. Well, for three reasons: 1) They finally
showed some consistency (with the exception of Bulger) so I'm starting to get confidence in them, 2) I
really liked adding McMichael and 3) I don't think people read this thing after they look at their team.
Having me a little higher means that you have to read my analysis of my own team, so there!
ONLY FOR $1 MILLION - INCHING WORMS The Worms are on life support right now with a 3-7
record. I think the Favre deal that Parker and I made late last week really did benefit both of us. I
mean, Favre has to be a better play than Kitna right? At least most of the time. Joe Addai has come
on lately (nice keeper option next year) and Fitzgerald has come back (definite keeper option next
year), but all of this looks like it's too little, too late for PK. We can all agree on one thing though, the
man has a bigger penis than Jason.
IF I WAS BLIND - BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH Lost in all my rants about how his RB situation has
been bad and he's been ripped with injuries, is how bad Eli Manning has been. There is no way Kiss
should consider keeping Eli next year. Alexander is probably one more week away and that might
already be too late for the Mouthing ROFF boys. Colston has obviously been the ray of light for
Kiss's team and a pick-up to really be proud of. Did you guys see that hit TJ took last week? Insane.
By the way, see you at Mardi Gras.
GROSS - DORFMAN It's been a rough week for B. Yeung in the ROFFL. Let the record show that I
love this man and whether he's felt or not, I've been air hugging the guy at least 4 times per school
period. I wont put my two cents in this matter because we already have about twenty cents too much
in the jar. I'll just say that I'll take B. Yeung's draft advice every year until the trophy is named after
me.
