QUICK NOTES
- Great movie you might not have seen, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”
- Next movie review could be “For Your Consideration” or “Bobby” or “The Fountain”
- I really hope you guys semi-enjoy reading the movie reviews half as much as I enjoy writing them.
- Three people that would have dramatically changed the world if they weren’t assassinated: JFK, RFK, and John
Lennon
- Made a mistake last week, new favorite song, “Starchild” – Jamiroquai
- It’s official, Michael Richards does not like Afro-Americans
- I’m still better looking than all of you.

HANDSOME - NOMADS IN THE DEEP The Nomads just keep on keeping on. With an 8 game win
streak, they're the best team in the league. But instead of gushing over the Nomads this week, I'd
like to pose another question. Similar to what the Colts did last year; will the Nomads lose on
purpose? Or more accurately, would it be better for Navid to lose before he hits the playoffs. If Navid
were to win out, It would mean that he'd have to win 13 in a row. The law of averages would not be
on his side. That said, I wouldn't want to face him.
HOT - SHERMTANKS This LaDainian Tomlinson kid might turn out OK. At the end of the year, when
we are voting for MVP's of the league, LDT has to be the unanimous winner. He really has
single-handedly put Jason's team over the top. I'm not saying his team is bad without LDT, but I'm
saying they're the second best team in the league with him. As long as Tomlinson is with the Tanks
(II) they're going to be dangerous. I think it's pretty obvious that the game of the week (and year) is
the #1, #2 showdown between Tanks (II) and Nomads. Good luck guys, should be a great one.
SEXY - NOSE I think Jarrett has solidified himself as the third best team in the league. He's on a 3
game winning streak and Carson Palmer has been real steady. Donte Stallworth may take a hit now
with Donovan McNabb out (this after I say he was the key to RRTT's team last week), but I wanted to
mention a pick that not many people will talk about and Jarrett will certainly not get credit for (even
though he deserves it). That pick is (was) Kellen Winslow, Jr. In a league where receptions are
extremely important, K2 is on pace for over 90 this season and he might be the best Tight End in the
league this year. Jarrett doesn't get the draft day credit he deserves, I'm gonna give it to him.
GOOD-LOOKING - FIGHTING BLUE CRABS Gregg has seen the biggest rise in my standings over
the past month. That's what happens win you win 5 out of your last 6. He's been riding Manning and
the ridiculous play of Chad Johnson the past two weeks. But he also gets more good news. Jamal
Lewis rediscovered the endzone, Marion Barber III is a TD thief, and DeAngelo Williams looked like a
legit starting running back last week (can you say keeper?). Though I do think the RB's can be his
Achilles heel, Gregg's team has been looking mighty attractive, whether you want to have sex with
him or not.
CUTE - CANTON FC Joshy boy gets a big upgrade this week with the return of Matt Hasselbeck. It's
Battle of the Brides II this week and I think it's the most Important game of the season when It comes
to playoff positioning. As for his team, well, the wide receivers have been lackluster this year and he
now has to rely on two rookie running backs the rest of the way. Still, both rook's are homerun hitters
which could make Lukin very dangerous come playoff time. For Lukin to win it all though, he's gonna
need big production from that Baltimore Defense. Good luck buddy.
ATTRACTIVE - BALTIMORE TOOLS Marc's team really showed me something with that win over
Parker last week. Now, I don't think he'll be getting another performance like that out of Lee Evans
for the rest of the season so let's see If the rest of his team can carry the load into the playoffs. I do
think Trent Green will be getting better throughout the rest of the season so he might be back at full
strength for our playoff season. The Portis injury might be too much to overcome, but I've been
wrong before.
DECENT - OC BEACH BALLERS I really appreciated what Scotty Watts tried to do this season. He
saw that his team was no match for the top 2, so he decided to make some moves to help compete
with the big boys. Unfortunately those moves have not worked out for him so much. Kevin Jones has
been so inconsistent it's hard to say that the trade worked out for the Ballers. Injuries and weak QB
play have really plagued the team from the OC, and in week 12, he turns to Jason Campbell. Which
proves this point: Daunte Culpepper kills teams.
EH - FIVE SECOND STARE That was a big, albeit ugly win for me. I'm starting to get a little worried
about Marc Bulger with Orlando Pace done for the season. I do like his next too match ups though
and I do like adding Joey Harrington and Justin Fargas to my team. Though that sentence alone
means that my team is in trouble. At this point I'm fighting for the playoffs to prove that it doesn't
matter how crappy your keepers are, you can still be a threat in this league.
NOT INTERESTED - BROCK'S BANDITS It looks like Brock's team is starting to come back to earth.
But is earth where his team belongs? Think about It. Ok, don't think about it. B-rock is in an
absolute must-win game against team Dorfman. Rudi Johnson has been good, but because he's not
much of a pass catcher his point total hasn't been that fantastic this season. Brock has also dealt
with disappointing seasons from both Bruce and Bennett. It appears that as Tom Brady goes, so
does the Bandits and that's not great news as Brady takes on the ball-hawking Chicago defense this
week. On the bright side, he's got a nice ass.
IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME - labor power With a win this week, Nick would guarantee himself
to be out of the running for the Toilet Bowl and rightfully so. I can't say it enough, how impressed I
am with the way Nick handled his team. In fact, Marc, who plays Nick next week in what could be a
must-win game, has to be very nervous. I'm glad I played Nick when I did; his team is way too
dangerous now. Tony Romo has had a good month.
NOT GOOD LOOKING - NEW JERSEY JACOBINS Dave has unfortunately taken a nose-dive since
his good start. As good as Barber has been this year, he's just not getting into the end zone. The
Injury to Donovan McNabb pretty much spells out the rest of the season for Jersey. He just doesn't
have enough firepower to overcome the loss of a player like McNabb. I love the kid, and I don't think
he's gonna get that toilet, but the playoffs are looking awfully far away right now.
ONLY FOR $1 MILLION - INCHING WORMS It has just not been Parker's year. I have the honor of
playing PK Daey this week (good luck buddy) and I must confess myself nervous. I don't care what
his record looks like, the man has stud receivers in Fitz and Harrison. The downfall of Parker's team
was the Edge James pick. I think we all know he had to take him, and we all knew he wouldn't be as
good as years past. But I'm not sure we knew it would be this bad. I also like the Addai and Green
draft picks but they haven't paid off yet. Next year though, keepers like Fitzgerald and Addai (plus a
possible early draft pick) could really set up Parker well in the future.
IF I WAS BLIND - DORFMAN With by far the lowest point total in the league, it was absolutely
essential for Brian to get the win in week 11. The toilet bowl doesn't seem like a lock for B. Yeung
and I'm calling the upset this week against the Bandits. No one can argue that Brian is one of the
cleverest GM's in our land, almost too clever. From the looks of our top two teams, it's pretty obvious
you got to dumb it down to be successful in this league. I mean, I'm a champion for crying out loud.
GROSS - BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH This season has certainly not gone the way that Kiss
wanted. He has to deal with busts (Eli and Carnell) and injuries (Alexander). To think, Jason was
really on the fence at one point on whether to pick LDT or Alexander. If Jason ended up with the
ladder, the two teams would be in reverse positions. What's the good news? We'll see you for Mardi
Gras.
