QUICK NOTES
- Sorry about last week fellas
- At least you get the two-pher this week.
Movie review of “The Prestige” will be
posted with this column
- Borat is coming next
- Halloween ’06 was officially renamed,
“What would happen if Neo took the Blue
Pill.” This was my favorite photo.
- New favorite song, “Back in the New York
Groove” - Kiss
- I’m still better looking than all of you.

HANDSOME - NOMADS IN THE DEEP If I didn't like Navid so much, this would make me sick. He
has the best fantasy running back, 3 (!!!!!!!!) of the best fantasy receivers, and Drew Brees has
been great this year. I can't find a single flaw with his squad. Truth is, I see three-peat. And I'm
gonna give credit where credit is due. If I don't make the playoffs, I'm rooting for Navid. I like seeing
greatness and if Navid wins three in a row, than move your egos aside boys, as of right now, he's
better than us.
HOT - CANTON FC This is where I thought Lukin's team should be throughout the year and the
good news for him is, he's got me this week, which should translate into another FC win. The
problem is at the QB position. I'm not sold on McNair as a viable option and I think Lukin might be a
trade away of locking up his potent starting line up. What could the trade bait be? What about
McGahee?
SEXY - BROCK'S BANDITS Hey, good game "Great Ass." THE! MAN! DRAFTS! WINNERS! Brady
and Watson were amazing last week and Thomas Jones and Rudi Johnson (as I predicted) both
busted out. His wide receivers leave much to be desired but Brock is one of the few teams with the
high scoring potential to topple our two-time defending champ. New Finals Prediction, Bandits vs
Nomads. Nice ass, by the way.
GOOD-LOOKING - OC BEACH BALLERS This should make my boy Watson happy and I think he
deserves it. He's hurt a little by the bye this week, but I love Westbrook, Wayne, and LJ Smith. The
problem with Scott's team is that it appears to be filled with inconsistent players and it's a pretty long
list, Lamont, Bell, Moss and Plummer. I can't believe I'm saying this but Damon Huard losing his job in
KC could really hurt the Ballers.
CUTE - NOSE I think the Nose is better than his record shows. It's weird, but I think Carson Palmer is
a detriment to his team. You have to start the guy, but Rex Grossman is putting up the same
numbers. I beg you Jarrett, trade Carson Palmer. He's hurt by the byes this week as he doesn't
have enough WR's to fill his roster but I would suspect Blass to make it to the playoffs this year. I
think he's team is too good not to.
ATTRACTIVE - BALTIMORE TOOLS The might have fallen a bit. I still like Marc's team but it's
clearly not as good as I thought it was. Chester Taylor got railroaded this week and Chad
Pennington is back to being Chad Pennington (I beg you Marc, for your own sake, do NOT start him
against the Patriots). The good news is that Trent Green is close to returning and Roy Williams,
Clinton Portis, and Lee Evans are back from their byes. I expect a bounce back week this time for the
Tools.
DECENT - SHERMTANKS The Shermtanks (II) are lying in the weeds, waiting dangerously to strike.
They're like the Stingrays to our Crocodile Hunter-type league (what? too much?). Hey LDT is good
and Jason was the one that took advantage of Parker dropping Antonio Bryant (I'm sure I'm not the
only other league member who tried to claim him). I actually think Bryant REALLY helps his team,
solidifying a week spot on his unit. Watch for a strong second half from the Tanks (II).
EH - NEW JERSEY JACOBINS I keep on thinking Dave's team is better or worse than it is.
Basically, I can't seem to get his team right. The Jacobins lost bad to the Worms last week but I still
like Barber, Jones, Moss, Johnson, Crumpler, and McNabb. Dave's team, just like anyone
rationalizing marriage, is an enigma. The third wide receiver spot is still a very spot, but I don't think
Dave's team is a 4-4 quality team. I think they're better, but until they prove it (much like Brock's
team did) I can't give it to them yet.
NOT INTERESTED - INCHING WORMS That was a big win for the Worms this past week and he's
now in a must win against the one-win team from across the ocean. But look at his team now, Joe
Addai is starting to perform, Ahman Green looked great last week, Larry Fitzgerald is one week away,
and Owen Daniels finally had the breakout week many of us were expecting. If Parker makes the
playoffs it could have Nomads '04 ramifications.
IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME - FIGHTING BLUE CRABS Word on the street says that Peyton
Manning is pretty good. Although I like a lot of Gregg's players (Manning, Johnson, and Ward) it
hasn't really translated into a lot of wins. Plus Ward has been disappointing and the running game
has been lacking. DeAngelo Williams should be back after the bye this week so hopefully for G.
Money, he can supply the spark he needs, whether you want to have sex with him or not.
NOT GOOD LOOKING - BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH Kiss really isn't in the worse shape in the
world if he can get the W this week against the Shermtanks, II (this game could be extremely
important when it comes to the playoff picture). The problem with Kiss's team has been the unreal
disappointing play of his two "stud" running backs. Cadillac Williams and Shaun Alexander have
been dogs this year, just a rough go. If they can turn it around the second half of the season, hey,
you never know. By the way, see you at Mardi Gras!
ONLY FOR $1 MILLION - labor power Give him credit. Nick is all but eliminated from the playoffs
already but he keeps on fighting and is getting some big weeks. But there are other things I'm
starting to like about the team: 1) Wali Lundy (sorry B), 2) Tony Romo (I'm already completely sold on
this guy), 3) Darrell Jackson, 4) Warrick Dunn and 5) Antonio Gates. I mean honestly, I had no clue I
could like the Limey's team this much. Good job Nick, even though you only got 1 win to show for it.
IF I WAS BLIND - DORFMAN It's been a tough road for Dorfman but I'm proud of him. He's like
"fuck you Joboo, I'll do it myself." But the facts are, he doesn't have much of a team this year.
Charlie Frye is his QB and guys like Furrey, Gabriel and Norwood are his starters. I'm not dissing the
assassin, he's one of my favorite people, but I think there's a toilet award in his future.
GROSS - FIVE SECOND STARE I have so little faith in my team at this point it's not even funny. I
think my problem is that I don't have a big 25 point threat (other than Bulger). Driver, Galloway,
McAllister, Taylor, Edwards, Droughns… they're all nice players but no one that scares people. I
need that homerun hitter and I can't seem to find it. I guess I'll have to wait till next year.
