HANDSOME
NOMADS IN THE DEEP
I know what you guys are thinking… can we stop sucking this guy off already?  Well I'll stop, when he stops impressing me.  First off Navid, barring
injuries, had the best keeper combination in the league.  He followed it up with an impressive 4 picks (Walker, Bulger, Edwards, Green).  Wide receiver
depth could be a problem this year for Navid (it was not last year) and clearly Gore is an injury risk and Johnson could deal with the 400 carry curse.
But overall, I think Navid's team is ranked #1 coming into the season.  Good luck asshole.

HOT
BROCK'S BANDITS
Damn it, not only does this man have a great ass, but this man picks winners.  I wasn't sure about keeping Brady, but Brock got his running back in
Edgerrin.  Like he has in at least three of the four years I've been in the league, Brock's decision to attach his QB with his best WR (Moss) could make
or break his team.  But I like the combo of Moss and Santonio Holmes.  Depth at WR could be a problem, and Anthony Gonzalez was probably a
reach, but I thought Leon Washington was a great value pick and Eric Moulds fell nicely to him in the 12th round.  The common theme around this
draft is that so few teams have capable, starting, back up running backs on their team.  I like Leon, but Brock's team will hurt if anything happens to
Edge or Rudi.

SEXY
THE NEXT GOOGLE
The 6 pick deal that Navid and Scott pulled off (and took nearly 12 hours to pull off) really helped out Scott's drafting.  As a contrast to Navid, Scott
had the two worst keepers in the league, but the trade helped him land Portis, giving him a nice one, two punch at RB.  Scott also has the deepest RB
situation with Chester Taylor and Brandon Jackson on the bench.  I liked the Wes Welker pick in the 8th round but Quarterback will be the biggest
question mark for Scott this year.  Delhomme and Pennington might not even be the best QB on their team.  I'm not sure I like all of his receivers, but
considering where Scott started this draft, I thought he did a very good job maximizing the value of his picks.

GOOD-LOOKING
SHERMTANKS
I thought Jason's draft sucked last year and the kid finished in fourth place.  I'm not so sure I was wrong though.  Matt Jones and Drew Bledsoe didn't
end up on the team.  This year I really liked Jay's draft.  First off, he had the second best couplet of keepers and followed it up with a couple of big
homerun guys in Fitzgerald and Brees.  Depth at WR is not going to be a problem for the Tanks (he has 7) and Brandon Marshall's value goes up with
Rod Smith on the PUP list and unavailable the first six weeks of the season.  He has to hope Mark Clayton fulfills sleeper status and Jerricho Cotchery
continues to impress, but J's team does lack holes.  The obvious problem is the depth at RB.  Like Brock, if anything happens to LDT or Parker, Jason
literally has no option.  And as the resident kicker expert, I think Mare will be a beast this year kicking in a Dome and in warm weather with the Saints.

CUTE
FIVE SECOND STARE
Maybe I'm giving myself a bit too much credit here but I was very pleased with my draft.  I was coming into the draft hoping to get Walker but I think I
picked the next best option (though not as good) with Burress.  I like Peterson and LaMont Jordan as a back up.  I like the starting WR corps of
Burress, Driver, and Galloway and Hasselbeck at QB.  There are question marks all over the squad though.  Peterson, Jordan, Benson, Hasselbeck,
Burress, and Driver all have question marks around them.  If I get some good answers, I might find myself in the playoffs again.

ATTRACTIVE
HUNGRY HORSES
It is always an absolute pleasure to draft next to Parker.  I really hope he makes the playoffs and performs well so he doesn't start thinking I'm a jinx.
Parker's problem is that he'll normally let his head get in the way of his picks, not this year.  Parker specifically targeted players that he wanted, and he
got them.  Addai, Harrison, and Westbrook are arguably the best 3 player combo in the draft and I like the Branch and James Jones picks specifically.
He might've reached for Williams and Brown but I didn't think Cutler was.  Parker has been notoriously hurt by waiting for a QB to drop to him.  This
year, he took charge and got the guy he wanted.  His WR's behind Harrison might be questionable, but I think he's in good shape.

DECENT
ANTI-TRUST
Now if I were including 'degree of difficulty' in my ratings, Nick would've been the most handsomest man alive.  Considering what he had to deal with, I
thought Nick did a superb job.  Last year, Nick almost had worse keepers than me.  This year, he kept the two right guys in Gates and Wayne, and
picked up a solid twosome of Carnell and Brandon Jacobs.  I love the Vincent Jackson pick and Bernard Berrian rounds out a nice wide receiver
package.  I really like the value of Fred Taylor in round 7 and Anthony Thomas in round 12.  Nick might be putting too much faith in young QB's, but
his team is in good shape if they perform.

EH
RANDOM THOUGHTS
Brian started in the red as soon as he grabbed the prize in the draft, S Jax.  Calvin Johnson was not so much of a surprise in the 5th round, but B.
Yeung has to hope he performs.  I like the WR corps and the RB combo of Brown and Jackson.  Rivers is a huge upgrade to what Brian had to deal
with last year and I love the Witten and Foster picks where they were drafted (8th and 9th round, respectively).  The questions are at the bottom of the
draft where it seemed like Brian went straight for the young boys.  Three rookie wide receivers and one rookie running back on the PUP list (who might
be shut down for the year).  If one of these wide outs breaks through the wall then I think the draft strategy really pans out.

NOT INTERESTED
BALTIMORE TOOLS
The truth is, I think almost everyone had a really great draft… so just because the ratings are getting bluer, it doesn't necessarily mean I thought the
drafts were bad.  For example, I really like what Marc has done with this team.  He made the absolute correct decision by keeping Evans and Williams
instead of one of the WR's and Portis.  Now, he has two top flight wide outs and a good RB combo in Thomas Jones and Deuce McAllister (though I
might've chosen Lynch there).  Stallworth also could have a big year in New England.  The only problem I see is at QB.  Green is not the same man he
was 4 years ago and Damon Huard might not be the best QB on his own team.  There were other options out there for Marc.  Despite the 'NOT
INTERESTED' rating, I thought Marc did a good job.

IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME
NOSE
I thought JB got off to a really good start this year.  He practically ruined everyone's draft when he did the right thing and chose Steve Smith with his
first pick.  He got two big time question marks at running back with Lynch and Norwood.  If these two are as good as some people think, than Jarrett is
in tremendous shape, as he clearly has the best set of WR's of anyone in the league.  I like the Shockey pick but Jarrett's draft took a bit of a nose
dive (pun intended) after a pick he didn't even make.  When Brock took Leinart in the 8th round Jarrett panicked and drafted Eli too early.  He got
angry and let it affect his draft.  I cannot support picking a kicker before the last round (Graham got injured the next day anyway) and his last three
WR's will probably be dropped.  LenDale White could be the best pick for JB though as he looked good in his last preseason game.  A great pick at
134 overall.

NOT GOOD LOOKING
BUSHMARONEY'07
Josh is in the same position as a lot of other teams who CANNOT afford an injury to his top two running backs.  His only option is Michael Turner,
who's already injured.  This of course means that he has no option.  I didn't like the Palmer pick as he could've gotten him in the next round and
picked up a better wide out than Colston (this depends on your opinion of Colston, I'm skeptical).  Other than the two stud RB's and the great QB, the
wide receivers seem a bit iffy, with only one #1 wide receiver, and only one #2 receiver on his team.  He'll have to hope Bennett can take the second
spot away from Isaac Bruce early in St. Louis.

ONLY FOR $1 MILLION
NEW JERSEY JACOBINS
Dave probably made the right move by keeping McNabb and made an even better decision by jumping a bit on Kitna to make sure he has someone to
back McNabb up.  I like the Travis Henry pick, but I'm not too sure about Marion Barber III, if he doesn't get a TD, will he score any points?  I'd rather
have a guy that's #1 on the depth chart like Ahman Green or LaMont Jordan (this coming from the guy who picked Adrian Peterson second).  I thought
Dave jumped on Leonard, Bowe and Miami's D a bit early but I really like the Todd Heap pick and I think Darrell Jackson was a nice value in the 5th
round.

IF I WAS BLIND
BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH
Kicker rule is in effect here.  I can't support picking Adam Vinitieri in the 11th round when there was other talent available.  Vinitieri is the best kicker in
the league, no doubt, but I can almost guarantee you he will not have the most points for a kicker this year.  I thought Rich kept the right two guys and
picked the best RB available in the #3 spot with McGahee and the best WR available in the #4 spot with Ward.  I think he jumped on Glenn and Hester
(who got injured already) but I like the Romo pick and thought Reuben Droughns was a nice pick in the 9th round.  Eric Johnson, the 171st pick
overall, could be a legitimate steal that late but like many teams, Rich doesn't have a back up RB (even though he has 5) and lacks depth at the wide
receiver position.

GROSS
FIGHTING BLUE CRABS
Someone has to finish last and it makes sense that it goes to one of the guys that wasn't at the draft (and who'll never read this anyway).  Gregg
picked the right two keepers with Johnson and Manning and might've made the right move by taking T.O. with his first pick; but, he took Julius Jones
over Carnell Williams, Marshawn Lynch, and Marion Barber III and got stuck with Jamal Lewis (again) as his second back.  I don't think that's enough.
Kevin Curtis could be a nice sleeper, but with guys like Devery Henderson and Bernard Berrian there, I think he was a reach.  I like what Gregg did at
the end of the draft with players like Bruce, Denver's D, and Brady Quinn but I'm not sure that'll be enough to win it all.  What's the good news?  The
last person I had in this spot last year made the playoffs.
