HANDSOME
BROCK'S BANDITS
He's right. Who needs a third wide out and a second running back when you have Brady and Moss? And Parker is right too, Brady and Moss literally
scare the shit out of me. But let's be honest, as good as Brady and Moss have been, Rudi Johnson has been the opposite of that. There's no arguing
that Brock's team is the best in the league this year, but having to rely so much on a combo like Brady to Moss could really hurt in the playoffs. If you
don't believe me, ask Jason about his 2003 team with Manning and Wayne.
HOT
BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH
Who's the MVP of this man's team? Is it Tony Romo who bounced back nicely after his 6 turnover night? Or is TJ WhosYourMama, the wide receiver
putting up this best numbers on his team? The only knocks on Rich's team has been the underperforming Shaun Alexander and Chicago's defense.
Nice to see McGahee finally hit the end zone and I'm curious to see how Roddy White adjusts to Byron Leftwich. If Chicago's D gets healthy by the
playoffs, Rich's team becomes a ton more dangerous.
SEXY
BUSHMARNOEY '07
So there's no change in the top three. Perhaps it's looking like last year, when my top 3 was predominately Nose, Shermtanks, and the Nomads. Like
Navid's team, (see below) I wasn't totally sold on Lukin's squad, but it's hard to argue with a 5-1 record and three victories in a row. I'd like to see what
Marc chooses as the game of the week? The battle of the 5-1 teams or the battle of the class of '03? It looks like Derrick Mason is going to lead the
league in receptions, obviously huge in our league and Laurence Maroney is probably returning this week to New England, which means New England
and Lukin will improve in week 7… both prospects scare me.
GOOD-LOOKING
NOMADS IN THE DEEP
I wasn't completely sold on Navid's team but he's won 3 in a row, capped with a 140+ week so he's team is definitely for real. Could you imagine if his
two RB's didn't have such terrible starts? If those two turn it on, I think Navid's team jumps over Brock's. Bulger comes back this week with a depleted
offense line but a possible upgrade for Navid at the position. It's Navid and I this week in the batter of the Two-Timers. Good luck Nomad, I expect a
great game.
CUTE
NOSE
These were two very important victories for JB to pull back to .500. Steve Smith carried the Nose in week 6 and I think Jarrett has to be forced to buy a
Vinny Testaverde Carolina Panther jersey immediately. As I've mentioned (and Brian has mentioned as well) LenDale White has been Jarrett's best
pick. This week is the first time Jarrett will be able to play his two top RB's and I think by the end of the season Lynch/White could be a potent RB
combo. Bulger's return also helps Holt and Anquan Boldin returns from injury, so Jarrett's team only seems to be improving.
ATTRACTIVE
FIVE SECOND STARE
I'm not joking, my luck with women has been so bad lately I might in fact go gay for Adrian Peterson. He's simply amazing. I really like the make up of
my team but not really the record. This is the first win I've gotten since the Tony G trade so it's nice to know he's not a jinx. I have a tough match-up
this week with the other two-time champion. Good luck brother, for you are the only league member that knows the burden of the crown.
DECENT
SHERMTANKS
Jason's team gets the biggest jump of the week because now that LDT is playing like the MVP, the Tanks can officially beat anyone in this league any
given Sunday. At the beginning of the year many league members thought Parker's Westbrook/Addai combo was the best in the league. We were
wrong, the best RB tandem in the league resides on the Tanks (II). Larry Fitzgerald has been heating up but with the exception of LDT, Jason's team
has a problem scoring touchdowns. Brees is integral to the rest of the season. If week 6 was not an anamoly, Jason's team is surging.
EH
RANDOM THOUGHTS
I like Brian's team but he's been hurt by the erratic play of Philip Rivers. Reggie Brown had a nice game and perhaps the trade to San Diego will boost
the stats of Chris Chambers. Ronnie Brown continues to be an absolute stud but the loss of Steven Jackson and Calvin Johnson has been rough on
the Assassin's team. The dark horse could be Selvin Young just resting on Brian's bench, waiting for Travis Henry to be suspended.

Watson has to be enthused by the second week of dominance by MoJo and the great pick of Wes Welker. Santana Moss (who will be good in '08) has
been awful this year. The real problem comes at QB. Scott took his time to get Delhomme and has ended up with only Chad Pennington and David
Carr on his roster. Honestly, that's a lot for any team (fantasy or reality) to overcome. He's going to have to hope for Chad to save his job and Clinton
Portis to stop being mediocre to reach the playoffs.
IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME
FIGHTING BLUE CRABS
That was a huge win for Gregg this week with Peyton Manning chillin' out on his bye week. The Crabs relied (and will rely) heavily on their wide
receivers. All three had great games and Kevin Curtis is starting to look like Gregg's best pick. The weak play of his running backs could hurt his
squad in the long run. I hate harping on this, but I don't think you can win in this league with Julius Jones and Ladell Betts (with a healthy Portis) as
your starting two. But I'm sure people said the same thing last year about me winning with Fred Taylor and Deuce McAllister. The lesson as always? I
haven't a clue what I'm talking about.
NOT GOOD LOOKING
ANTI-TRUST
I watched the MNF game this week because I had Plaxico and Ward going and I gotta tell ya, every time Brandon Jacobs was in that game, he looked
great. That's gotta be frustrating as shit because the guy just can't stay healthy. Nick made the right move by picking up Michael Bennett so either
way he's going to have the starter in Tampa Bay and he gets the much needed return of Reggie Wayne this week off his bye. Matt Schaub actually
might be a problem now… he has not been the same since Andre Johnson went down and the Texans don't expect Johnson back till week 10.
ONLY FOR $1 MILLION
HUNGRY HORSES
This is a low rating for Parker but he gets great news this week with the return of Addai and Marvin Harrison. That makes his team about 200% better
than it was the last two weeks. Owen Daniels, a player I remember Parker specifically targeting at the draft, has paid dividends for the Horses; but,
Parker's team is starving for victories and I'm rooting for him because I need him to be sitting next to me at the 2008 draft. Another credit to Parker is
the Bobby Engram pick. He looks like Hasselbeck's favorite receiver with Branch out for a bit. It looks bad right now, but of all the teams ranked this
low, I think the Horses have the best chance of making a quick turn around.
IF I WAS BLIND
NEW JERSEY JACOBINS
Dave could really use Andre Johnson back, his wide out corps of Bowe, Jenkins, and Curry would get a huge upgrade. Dave's team has been tail
spinning a little bit. Does this have anything to do with Marc picking him? I'll let the Swami worry about that. McNabb has been a disappointment,
especially when you consider that he was kept over Moss. As of right now Dave has Leonard starting in front of Travis Henry, but we all know Dave's
penchant for waiting for the last minute to change his roster (does this make him the Bill Belichick of the Rho O Double Phi?). Travis Henry has to be
starting.
GROSS
BALTIMORE TOOLS
The Quarterback is what's plaguing Marc's team and I'm not sure that Trent Edwards is the answer. Interesting dilemma Marc has found himself in with
deciding to start Edwards over Lemon. I'm sure he was not hoping to make that decision at the beginning of the year. There is some good news
though, including Thomas Jones first legitimate game as a running back and Donte Stallworth coming into his own in New England's high powered
offense. Marc's defenses were both disappointing in week 6 and Cedric Benson isn't exactly working out so far. The commish has work to do.

QUICK NOTES 1. I’d go gay for Adrian Peterson 2. Seriously though, who’d you go gay for? This should have its own thread on the message board. 3. Song worth downloading for 99 cents? “Next Big Thing” by Rockett Queen 4. Few things are more satisfying than seeing the Geeks getting made over in “Beauty and the Geek.” 5. Honestly, how awesome is “Thriller” by the Michael Jackson? 6. Five years later, I’m still better looking than all of you.
