HANDSOME
SHERMTANKS
Jason gets a big win with LDT on a bye.  Not only did he get the W, but he also finally saw the returns of Tim Hightower, now the starting running back
for the Arizona Cardinals.  I doubt that he’ll keep Hightower, but having a good 3rd RB adds depth to a team that is already the best in our league.  I
guess if there is one thing to keep an eye on, it’s the recent mediocre play of Jay Cutler.

HOT
DOUBLE G
So you win 8 games in a row, you’re in first place, and you feel the need to make a trade?  Interesting choice by our current leader.  I can’t blame him
though, in this very column I’ve criticized Scott’s wide receiver depth and he certainly took a chance to try to improve that category to get the
recovering Marques Colston.  If Colston pans out, this could put Scott’s team in the Shermtank area.  If not, it will take away from his solid RB depth.

SEXY
NEW JERSEY JACOBINS
We’re going to chalk up this last loss to some bad luck.  Dave’s team has survived a ton of bad luck actually, especially at the quarterback position.
After drafting one of the five best quarterbacks in the history of the game, picking up one of the best 10 quarterbacks in the league this year, Dave has
to play Kerry Collins this week.  I still love Marion Barber and Andre Johnson, but without a solid quarterback, Dave’s team is in real trouble.

GOOD-LOOKING
NOMADS IN THE DEEP
Great episode of the Brockcast last week with a huge helping hand from the two-time champion.  Once again, Navid’s team is knee deep in the playoff
hunt and is sporting a strong team with Denver’s top two wide receivers and Frank Gore.  Navid’s weak point is at quarterback though, perhaps hitting
up Parker Daey for a trade would be a good idea, Manning or McNabb would be a huge addition to this squadron.

CUTE
COFFEE ON 3RD
All Joe Flacco needed was for me to bash him a little bit before he became John Elway.  Ray Rice was another solid pick up and I think that Josh has
really upgraded his team (and his ranking) by making the deal for Maurice Jones-Drew.  It’s not that MJD has had a great year, it’s that he still
consistently puts up big fantasy numbers.  Lukin has survived the Bush injury, but I still think he needs to try to make an upgrade at QB to be a
legitimate threat to win the title this year.

ATTRACTIVE
BORN TO RUN MY MOUTH
Does it make sense for Kiss to trade Romo for a stud running back?  I think so.  Kiss’s team has done a really good job of surviving with a terrible
running back situation.  I mean he has no one.  Warner has really saved his team and he has a couple of strong wide receivers but I think that Rich is
going to have to make a move or he’s falling out of the playoff race.

DECENT
B’DAY
And the luck keeps getting worse for the worst best team in our league.  He has two great running backs and the best quarterback in the league this
year.  But, as we’ve discussed before, wide receiver is the position of need to be successful in our league.  Brian has also suffered from poor play from
his tight end.  Brian is better than his record states, but the bottom line is that he’s on the outside looking in.

EH
MARYLAND TOOLS
That was an impressive win from Marc this week and he definitely needed it because his best players, Santana Moss is on the bye this week.  I do like
the Greg Camarillo pick up and the Kevin Faulk addition is relatively solid.  Marc has some question marks at the QB position which might hurt his team
come playoff time.  I’m hoping that our commish does make a return to week 14 though.

NOT INTERESTED
NOSE
I was speaking to Jarrett early tonight about his team.  Just from looking at it, on paper, Nose looks like it should be a more competitive team.  He does
have a couple of problems though, NO tight end, NO third receiever, and NO defense.  The real problem with JB’s team is he has no depth
whatsoever.  If Ronnie Brown or Marshawn Lynch went down, he would be in the tank.

IF I HAD A FEW DRINKS IN ME
COLT .45 BANDITS
Brock is another team dealing with mediocre quarterbacks this season.  He’s turning to Matt Ryan this week though and I think it’s a really good
decision.  Great to see Anquan Boldin back and not missing a beat and really, who would have thought of Matt Jones.  Running Backs on Chris’s team
are a little thin and K2 has been a huge disappointment.

NOT GOOD LOOKING
FAIR TRADE
I still like this team, but the QB play has hurt Nick.  The Schaub injury might’ve put the nail in the coffin for our future Secretary of State.  Clearly a lot is
riding on the young arm of Brady Quinn.  Hopefully, for me, it takes a couple of weeks for him to adjust to the NFL.  If Brady works out, and with the
continued play of Jacobs and Wayne, Nick can still head into the playoffs.  I’m rooting for you big guy, just not this week.

ONLY FOR $1 MILLION
SOARING PIGS
I know that Parker likes to have two solid quarterbacks on his team, but with Joseph Addai injured and underperforming, and Santonio Holmes being a
big disappointment, it might be time for Eli or McNabb to be put on the trading block (Dave interested?).  Parker has lost 5 in a row so he might have to
make a drastic move ASAP.

IF I WAS BLIND
FIGHTING BLUE CRABS
Nice to see the bottom two teams win two consecutive.  Just by looking at the records, it looks like we’ll be able to get one 6-7 team in the playoffs.  Nice
to see vintage Peyton Manning for VA and with Romo coming back in two weeks, perhaps T.O. will have a strong second half of the season.  VA is
struggling mightily at running back though and might need to make a move if he wants to make a run to the playoffs.

GROSS
FIVE SECOND STARE
Two in a row?  Looks like it’s going to be too little, too late, but I’m not going to stop trying till week 16.  It’s all about respect now and I want as many W’
s as I can get.  I like the Frerotte pick up and of course LenDale might’ve become my best pick of the draft.  As of right now, my keepers would probably
be Peterson and Rivers…. Not sure I love keeping a Quarterback.
QUICK NOTES
1. OK, I’m here for good.
2. I hope you listen to Nick and Brock’s Election Brockcast.  It was amazing.
3. Song worth downloading, “The Resolution,” by Jack’s Mannequin
4. See “Zack and Miri Make a Porno,” I don’t know why it didn’t make more money.  I thought it was hilarious.
5. I’m writing this during the election and I feel fortunate to have voted in both this and the 2000 election.
6. Yep, you guessed it.  I’m still better looking than all of you.
