Yes Men – Part 2

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

- From the birthday boy, Brock: “I don’t know if this guy is my hero, or the biggest moron alive.”

- Will Smith makes money… lots and lots of money…

- Ok, I might start watching The Hills (right show, right?)

- Further proof of how amazing YouTube is. People can freely express themselves anyway they want. Any damn way.

Yes Men – Part 1

Leno’s Last Days – Part 2

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

- So long to a true Golden Girl Estelle Getty

- John Mayer’s new single? Free Fallin’

- SUCK IT HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!

Leno’s Last Days – Part 1

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

- It’s official: Leno to leave on May 29, 2009. Conan begins on June 1. Personal opinion: NBC is out of their damn minds. Why push out the number one late night host in order to get in a guy who’s struggling to win his 12:30 slot? And Leno doesn’t even WANT to go! They are trying to avoid a late night brouhaha like they had in ’92. But they WON in ’92! They won’t in ’09.

- Shockey heads to the Saints where he can go back to not winning titles

- Batman\John Conner assaults the real villains… his family

- The BNL singer that looks like Seth Rogen got in a little trouble back in Syracuse…

I’M STILL BACK!!

- Fine, DirecTV, you win. I’ll order you because you are so passionate about Friday Night Lights… (speaking of, check out some Season 3 spoilers…)

- Apparently you can’t even make a movie ABOUT making a porno without getting an NC-17 rating

- Roeper leaves Ebert and Roeper, leaving… um… no one?

- Shout out to my girl over at Miss Menu NYC. I can’t wait for the CasaVille review

I’M BACK!!

Quick thank you to Brock for doing an OUTSTANDING job with the blog while I was gone. I will never hesitate to let you take the reigns ever again.

Two-a-days are back starting… NOW:

- Dark Knight dominated the box office and my mind from even before the opening scene

- Paul had me singing my heart out on Friday and then caused a bigger raucous on Sunday

- Quick TV Hits: Fallon to warm up on the web; 24: Exile looks like it’s going to be disappointing

- Israel was a blast! Need proof? Check out albums one, two, three and four! (And these are just 240 of the 1800 I took!)

Cue my theme music. Time to close this one out.

Just want to thank everyone who checked out the blog while I’ve been navigating this Madden Cruiser the last two weeks. I’ve had a great time and hopefully whenever the duty calls again, Marc won’t hesitate in tossing me the keys.

On to my final links.

- Maybe this explains Starbury’s head tat? OK, probably not.

- With a show of hands, how many of you watched ’til the very end last night? Anybody?

- Phew! At least Keenan Thompson isn’t leaving SNL. Then the show would really suck.

- At least now he can shave that stupid neck beard.

- Reminder: Mouth’s only birthday request is straight cash homey.

- Man, VA and I were sooo close to bidding on this, too.

- Rampage is not handling his loss to Forest well.

- To the gamers out there, play NCAA ‘09 at your own risk.

- Personally, I refer all my lap dance questions to Jason, but this seems like good advice.

- I guess you could spend 30 minutes of your life doing worse things.

- Apparently, people are pretty excited for Dark Knight.

- It’s a hard knock life for The Goot these days.

- Josh Hamilton wishes AT&T sponsored the Home Run Derby. Ya know, for the rollover homers. Get it?

- And in this corner we have Tucker Max! And in the other corner we have Michael Ian Black!

- I guess she really was fucking Matt Damon. Or was he fucking Ben Affleck?

- The iPhone ad you didn’t see.

- Are you ready to hear words like spurtability and such contractions as much clutch? Too bad.

- There is no corny intro for this link. Just enjoy.

- Welcome to the league, VA.

- To those in the TV biz, this is probably some kind of news.

- Hey, should Dave and Tina have any domestic issues, he now has the perfect weapon.

No word from Epstein, guess I’m still in charge.

- Maybe we should start a CFL fantasy league. Well, you know, only if they are involved in Draft Weekend.

- I shit you not, last weekend at a rest stop in Connecticut I saw a kid wearing a pair of Starbury’s. However, he did not have any ink on his dome.

- I’m not sure what this means, but that’s a lot of fucking money for anything.

- “There she is, Miss Someone Who’s Name I’ll Never Be Able To Pronounce But Who’s Really Really Hot.”

- Believe it or not, Parker Deay was actually the model for a lot of these statues.

- Riddle me this, Batman.

- If this is any indication, “W.” could be pretty solid. Or at least rowdy.

- This week’s sign of the apocalypse.

- Tasteless and offensive, eh, what about hilarious?

- I’d say stick to writing, Jose, but even that didn’t go so great last time around.

- This is well and good, but can we do something about that laugh?

- Yeah, snowboarding in the 21st century.

Just another manic Sunday.

Sorry everyone, this sweet Web site was having some issues, hence the lack of postings this weekend. But don’t fret, I’ll be back with a vengeance later this evening for your blog-viewing pleasure.
