- Marty Scorsese to follow up his Atlantic City movie with a movie about another Jersey icon – Frank Sinatra

- In two weeks Leno will close his chapter in Tonight Show history and help usher in the next one by making Conan his last guest

- By the way, if you haven’t seen Rich and Michele’s wedding site yet, you have to take a look. It’s a pretty impressive piece of wedding bliss…

- My buddy Brock has gone from MySpace to Twitter, skipping the crucial Facebook stage in between. Catch his Twitter feed here – he’ll be in St. Louis all weekend for a wedding and will be letting you in on his thoughts (Brock – whatever you do, be more interesting than this)

Cinco De Rein – Part 1

- So much for more X-Men Origins films… looks like it’s going to be more Wolverine films…

- Ha, ha, suck it Disney: “Jonas is Disney Channel’s lowest-rated live-action series premiere… since 2005’s Life with Derek”

- After all that hype, the new 49er’s uniforms are merely more of a throwback look for the team. I guess that’s not so bad – those old teams did win championships after all…

- Paula Abdul – the singer – is back with another attempt at a number one hit. I’m going to guess this one’s going to fall flat like that “new one” from ’07

Extra Slice – Video: NBC announced their 2009/2010 show pickups yesterday and the most promising seems to be Community, starring Joel McHale (from E!’s The Soup) and Chevy Chase)

- Hef wants Holly back? After spending five season begging Hef to marry (and impregnate) her, I’m guessing she’ll go back to him

- What the f*ck happened to Torry Holt’s finger? Holy shit that’s hard to look at…

Movie Date – Part 1

- So much for the Internet leak causing viewers to stay away: Wolverine dominates box office (but can it beat Star Trek this coming weekend???)

- Why do the MTV Movie Awards always seem so dated? For example, nominees were announced today and they include The Dark Knight  and Iron Man. I know they came out last summer but that was sooooo long ago

- Speaking of Iron Man, USA Today has a first look at the sequel (which is two say, one photo that reveals multiple Iron Man suits…)

- Spike can’t seem to stay away from the game he loves: Lee to document Kobe Bryant on a game day
